First of all this thing works very well or so I thought. It does weigh 20 lbs which is what was expected. The advert states that it comes with an Anderson power pole connector but further down it leaves it out on the 'what is in the box' statement (that I didn't catch). As a Ham I use Anderson connectors and was disappointed. You Tube reviews show the connector but I guess that changed. Tested on my CPAP, it used 15% of the battery using the DC adaptor (cigar lighter plug) for 1 night without heat or humidity which I don't use anyway so it should work well for car camping trips. I did charge the battery on one Solar panel 100 watts. I tried to use the AC power to charge my laptop while using the DC to power my Ham radio. The inverter created so much RFI (radio frequency interference) that I could not use the AC power for anything while trying to use the radio. I will contact Pecron to see if that is normal? If so, I will have to return it. UPDATE: 2-29-24 Pecron did contact me and tell me that the RFI was to be expected. While being very satisfied with the product in every other aspect, I decided to keep it. The 120 volt power is nice but that's not what I bought the power bank for. It provides ample power for our road trip camping needs, It's easy to charge in the truck while in route to our next location and provides our power and charging needs. The unit is very well made and should provide years of service. Note is does run my low power and QRP ham radio gear quite well on the 12v cigar plug as long as the power requirements are 10 amps max. I find the unit suited for the price range, and changed my review from 2 to 4 stars. ... show more

  • Versatile Outputs: It offers multiple output options including AC, DC, and USB ports.
Style: E600LFP
I purchased my PECRON E600LFP 614Wh Solar Generator in December of 2023 and have been utilizing it extensively since then. Primarily, I've been employing its DC capabilities, making use of its 3X 12 DC output ports at 10 Amps. It has proven highly effective in powering my DC-based fresh water filtration systems, as well as facilitating the pumping of fresh water into multiple containers as required. Upon conducting a DC output capacity test on the same day of purchase, I found that it delivered approximately 88% of its rated battery capacity. Admittedly, for a fair assessment, I should have first depleted the battery and then recharged it to full capacity before conducting the test, which I have not yet had the opportunity to do due to continuous usage. To keep the unit charged, I employ trickle charging via the 18-24 Volt MPPT Solar input, utilizing a 100 Watt panel. For heavier loads, particularly when working outdoors with multiple power tools, I connect it to my 400 Watt or 800 Watt solar array configured in a 2S2P setup to the unit's DC 32V - 95V Charging port (GX16MF-5). The unit's pass-through charging capability ensures uninterrupted operation as long as sunlight is available. In summary, the PECRON E600LFP has proven to be a reliable and versatile power source, meeting my diverse needs both indoors and outdoors, and providing peace of mind with its efficient charging options and pass-through functionality. ... show more

  • Solid, no frills portable solar generator
Style: E600LFP
Got this along with two 200W folding solar panels instead of a small gas generator in order to keep basics going like our fridge and phones running during extended power outages. Had an even smaller solar generator during Hurricane Ian that could only accept 200W and that could not keep up with our residential fridge. I love that this can accept 400W of solar and after testing it, it can run our 28cu.ft fridge (which has an inverter compressor, so no surge) indefinitely while the sun is shining and for a good chunk of the evening on battery alone. I tested this for several hours using modest loads of around 200W out and 300W solar charging and it barely got warm so the fans hardly came on and was super quiet. I really like this compared to my other solar generator. One of my main two cons of this is that it uses an external AC charger, which has a loud fan, that only charges at around 275W max and means it cannot be used like a UPS or charge fast while still being used. The other con is the lack of a phone app. Even if it only worked over Bluetooth it is really useful to be able to check the solar input while adjusting panels if the unit is inside. Also there tends to be other options that can be configured in apps. As it stands there are basically no options, but the capacity of this solar generator is excellent for its price. It is fantastic that it can accept 400W in such a small and portable package as that actually gives you a chance of sustaining a charge over multiple days of real world usage. It also feels like a solid unit and has a build quality well above its price point. One oddity I found that I think is actually beneficial is that the 400W port seems to accept voltages all the way down to 18V even though it says 32V to 96V (which is a really good max too). I thought I would always have to use it with two 18V panels in series, but it seems to work with just one of my 18V panels too. ... show more

  • Purchased in July 2023, went to charge for the first time and it will not hold the charge.
Style: E600LFP
This thing turned out to be a complete waste of time. I purchased the unit in July 2023. Went to charge it for the first time in July 2024 and it will not hold a charge at all. When it's plugged in, the unit appears to be charging and the percentage charge does gradually increase to 100%... Then as soon as you unplug it, it totally dies. Very disappointing! Do yourself a favor and save the money or go with a different product. ... show more

  • Best power bank for the price!
Style: E600LFP
I have used a similarly priced power bank for some time now--it can't hold a candle to my Pecron! First, having a power bank that actually can produce 120 volts that actually greatly exceeds it's watt-hour capacity is phenominal! My previous power bank could not even produce power at it's rated capacity. Additionally, the Pecron recharges in 1/3 the time of the other power bank that only has half the capacity! The display is is informative and easy to understand. I live totally off-grid and rely on my power bank to charge my phone, operate a small TV and various LED lights. It has performed flawlessly and feel confident the Pecron is by far the best bang for the buck! BTW compared to power bank "J" ... show more
