Nice and sticky and quality material. Some washi tapes feel old or won’t peel on and off nicely. This washi doesn’t require extra glue to get it to stock. And it doesn’t tear trying to get it off the roll.

Tape is beautiful, it has three repeating images on each tape roll. The surface you’re going to stick it on does need to be thoroughly cleaned otherwise the edges will lift off in a couple days. The box it came in was crushed and torn but the shipping package was undamaged so it had to have been like that when it went in. This was a test run to see if it would make a good gift so I’m fine with keeping it but definitely would not be able to trust directly shipping it to a friend. ... show more

So, the tape that I got is gorgeous (not entirely opaque, whatever is in the background will show through. It's paper tape after all) , but I pressed over the tape using a rounded tool over the area a few times over after getting sick of it peeling and of pressing it with my fingers. Pieces shorter than 3" or so still peel up over time, and I think the edges are still prone to disengaging over time too. How uncommon this exact print is on washi tape is the only thing giving me pause about returning it though, it's not awful at all, but it's not working perfectly for my intents and there are many washi tapes in the sea. When it peels up, it barely leaves a residue that wipes right away. ... show more
