UPDATE to 4 stars: I'm updating my review to 4 stars, not because I ever found the lost earring, but because after trying others I came back and reordered these and my second pair has mostly lived up to my hopes for them. I'm still bummed about the lost one, and these still occasionally might get pulled out of an ear (watch them near a sink, they will easily get lost down the drain), but overall I'm very loving them. I wore them exclusively through working at home during COVID lockdown too. I might have just gotten a defective one on my first order, but I kept the good one, so now I have a spare. I really was hoping to give these a good review but it isn't possible at the moment. I had a pair of small hoops I got forever ago at Target that I never removed unless I was swapping earrings. I slept, showered, went swimming in them, everything, and never had an issue. Last week on vacation one fell out while messing with a snorkeling mask in the ocean. So I started looking for a replacement and thought I'd get a little bling in them since a lot had changed since I bought the old ones. I settled on these after reading all the positive reviews, though not discounting the bad reviews. They arrived Thursday and I put them in after work, figuring I'd give a week or two putting them through the same routine as my old ones before reviewing. It's the following Sunday and all was going well, they were working perfectly.... until I went to shower and realized one had vanished since I'd gotten up less than 8 hours ago. Looks like the clasp failed. I've looked everywhere, and since I haven't left the house other than my deck, figured I'd find it, but to no avail. I'll keep looking, but I'm afraid if it fell thru the slats on my deck, I'll never find it. In the 3 days I had them they were almost perfect. They sit a little closer to my earlobe than I'd hoped, but they were a different style than the ones I was replacing. The sparkle was perfect. They didn't hurt to sleep on. And I imagine, had I been able to wear them longer, I would have loved them. Now, with money tight and this first pair seeming to be a waste of money, I have to decide how to replace these. Sooo..... try them, but you may want to constantly be checking that they're still there. They're so small, I never heard it fall on my hardwood, tile, or wherever it eventually ended up. I'm still hoping I might find it, and if I do, I'll update the review. If not I'll be looking for a new pair. Seriously bummed.

LONG REVIEW! I'll start by saying these earrings are exactly what I was looking for. I purchased a set for myself quite a while back, and they're really cute for adult women as "huggie", or just small hoop earrings. But, after receiving my pair and wearing them for a while to test their durability, I thought they would be a perfect set of small hoops for my 6 y/o daughter. And I was definitely right! As you can see in the picture, I got the rose gold plated for her, and they're absolutely adorable! They're a perfect size so you can tell she is wearing little hoops, but still small enough to suit her small frame and be manageable. They're very lightweight so they don't pull on her ears at all. However, the best feature of these earrings is probably the ease of wearing them. With a lot of hoops for little girls, the closure on them is the type where the 'post' part that goes through the ear has to go back inside the earring (like the earring is hollow) itself to be secured. These types of closures always end up with my daughters ear getting pinched because it's so hard to maneuver to close. Other hoops will simply have the post clip on the top of the back side of the earring, with a little piece sticking out. The piece you 'pop' in and out when you're putting them in or removing them. These don't pinch her ears, but that piece sticking off the back always gets caught on something and the earring falls out without anyone noticing. We have 2 seperate sets of hoops that were made this way, and both sets have one earring missing because they inevitably came out and got lost, never to be seen again. So, that leads me to why these are so great, again.. The closure on these is fantastic. The earring has a hinge in the middle which essentially let's in fold down to seperate almost in half, then the post goes through the ear and you bring the other half back up and the post clicks right in to the other half of the earring. There is NOTHING sticking out/off the back side, so it doesn't get caught on anything and become unsecured. It never pinches my daughters ear, and it's super easy to close and open. My daughter sleeps in her earrings, and these have never come open or gotten lost in the night like the others did. I genuinely can't say enough good things about these earrings. They haven't tarnished or turned, and they're a great value for an excellent price. I highly recommend!! For adults, or kids!!

Had these for 5 years now. I wear them all the time, in the shower, to sleep, to the gym, you name it. Still look good as new. They are my go to earrings when I don’t want to wear bigger hoops or something dangly. It’s my everyday pair because you don’t have to take them out and can do everything in them.

The earrings are very cute but one of them fell off and went down the sink within a few wears. It seemed like the clasp didn't snap in very tight. One of them snapped in and you could tell it was secure, but the other one didn't snap as securely and it fell off when I was drying my face and went down the drain.
