We got the size 3-6, even though my daughter is usually a size 2, because she has slightly wider feet and all of the other size 2 skates we have tried were too snug. They are a little big, so fit true to size like a size 3 should. She can still wear them if they are tightened enough. They are functional, the wheels spin freely, and the light up feature is fun. There are laces and a strap and a buckle, so it is not the easiest for a kid to put on, but they are definitely secure and not going to fall off. The ankle support also can reduce the chance of injuries. The brake is low to the ground and easy to use, especially compared to some other styles. We got these on a big sale for $17.99, that is why I picked these over other brands. I pleased with the quality and would spend up to $35 for the same skates if I needed them again. ... show more
