The bristles are very soft and are made of real kolinsky. It’s very good beginners if you want to buy a good brush. Not only is it good but it’s for a good price. The brush can come in various sizes. I’m a beginner and it’s really good when i do my acrylic application. The acrylic doesn’t stick to the bristles nor is there any residue in it after applying it. because of the price i decided to get an 8, it isn’t bad at all i just think you’d get better application with maybe a 10 or 12 (i bought this as a beginner). acrylic almost never gets stuck in my brush and if it does (most likely my fault) it comes off amazingly with a proper soak off
