This review is for a Patio Umbrella Cover that has a zipper and drawstring cord for secure closure. This cover has a waterproof double layer, it’s UV resistant and fits a 12’ to14’ cantilever umbrella which is what we have. This umbrella cover is made of thick material and feels like it will make it through the winter. They include a telescopic pole that can be extended to 39.37” and it’s supposed to help you get the cover over the top of the umbrella without a ladder… Liar, Liar pants on fire LOL. Our umbrella is over 10’ and there is no way that the telescope was a help in fact it kept on closing, but it gave me and my husband a lot of laughs. At one point I got on top of our table and my husband was not too happy with me. Bottom line you’re going to either need a ladder or a long pole like a broom pole. After getting it on you zip it up, pull the drawstring cord and tie it around the bottom. With that said I still will give it 5 stars because it will protect my investment no matter how it gets put on. At the time of this review, it was $21 which is comparable to others on the market. Seems well made and durable. Takes some patience to get it on umbrella, but having a snug fit is important for wind control.

The cover is made out of good material and stitching is great. Where it’s falls short is the zipper. It doesn’t zip high enough to place over your umbrella. There is an included rod which extends but the issue remains the rod is not long enough to allow you to place the cover over the umbrella. I am 6ft tall and could not place cover on with provided rod. The only option you have is to get a ladder to cover and uncover umbrella. The design of the largest sized cover is poorly done and I would not recommend unless you are ok with needing a ladder to use this cover.
