I chose the small Carolina/Guitar Marlin for my petite 8 year old. It’s a bit large on them overall, with the arms being almost it not quite comically long! Despite these long arms, my sensory sensitive (tags, seams, fabrc, etc) has repeatedly dubbed this the best shirt EVER! It’s smooth and comfortable for outdoor activities, even on hot days the long sleeves protect from the sun while wicking moisture away. You can get right in water if you wish, the fabric dries very quickly and makes an excellent choice for times when swimming may or may not be the plan. We’re in a coastal area so that’s pretty much every day! This shirt has been such a delight for my kiddo that I’m likely ordering another as a holiday gift! It’s colorful, well made, performs well and will please any coastal or fishing enthusiasts!

Nice quality fishing long sleeve dry fit shirt. This fits my son true to size. He was happy with the design and how it fits him. It has nice sleeves that will protect him from the sun. The print on the back is nice and great size. Washes well several times and still looks new. I hang dry it.

Great fishing shirt that is cool & cute! My 6 year old likes the print on it, and it helps keep the sun off him when out there on those sunny fishing days. He says he doesn't get too hot since it is lightweight and breathable.

If you are keeping tabs on all the things that give you cancer, apparently the list not only includes the sun, but also sunscreen. I know...so what now? Rather than slather my son in mountains of sunscreen during days outside at the river, I have opted for lightweight shirts since he was three. This one feels nice, he doesn't complain that it's hot, and is reasonably priced. Bonus points for the guitar playing fish on the back that he really got a kick out of. He's 9 and about 4'10" and 95lbs, and the large size fits him nicely. It's only seen one trip to the river thus far, but I'll be sure to update the review if it starts falling apart prematurely.
