DO NOT ATTEMPT TO INSTALL ON OEM THROTTLE TUBE. What i don't see a lot of people mention or tell you and for new riders we don't know what to search or are knowledgeable to replace oem throttle tube to install these or you will have a hard time and possibly rip your new grip as you see in one of the images. Now I don't know know if all OEM throttle tubes are equal or different but for mine it was as shown in final image I had to purchase an aftermarket throttle tube that was without the end protruding pieces obstructing me from putting these grips on. I installed this on my 2019 Honda CB300R using the following throttle tube that I had to replace my oem with is "Kitako (kitako) super throttle pipe GROM / PCX125 / 150 (JF56 KF18) 901-1432900" fits much perfect and was easier quick 3-4 minutes installation putting these grips on. The throttle tube itself took a good 15-25 minutes I was able to replace it without touching the throttle base that is under the gas tank you will need to adjust slack on the front part where the throttle cable comes out of the throttle handle area there's a ruber sleeve covering the adjuster play around with it till you get it right. ... show more

I installed grips like these almost 11 years ago. The rubber wore to a smooth surface. I paid a bomb for the previous grips and now know I just need value that will last for a few years or until I want a new color. These fitted perfectly, look great and make the bike feel new.

Comes exactly as pictured. Sturdy and comfortable to ride with. The rubber grips well to gloves and makes throttle finesse easy. I had a previous pair that got damaged in a high speed crash. And by damaged... the aluminum sleeve was scraped up. Pairs great with bar ends.. but you might need to install a washer between the throttle grip and bar end so the rubber on the grip doesn't make your throttle stick open. Easy install with some dish soap and elbow grease (I actually installed them properly unlike the previous owner). SV1000. ... show more

    • Watch out for the throttle side. Won’t fit over factory tube.

These don’t fit on the throttle side of my 2008 GSXR 600. The factory throttle tube is too big for it fo fit with the aluminum ends. I ended up modifying it to fit. I will have to purchase new grips again soon, but not these unless I have a thinner throttle tube....

These are great. I wouldn't say they are high quality, but the rubber is good. The smooth piece on the top is plastic, but it's well protected and won't fade. These look great on my bike! They went on pretty easy but grab very well, I didn't bother putting my adhesive on. I give five stars at this price point. ... show more
