I got this for my dad who has chronic/arthritic pain. He couldn't feel it at all unfortunately. I made sure he used it properly but it just didn't seem to alleviate any pain. I used it on myself to ensure it works and I definitely felt the pulses, but I haven't tried using it when in pain. I'll update if I try again. ... show more

I was sceptical of this products usefulness, but was pleasantly surprised. It delivers a powerful burst of electrical impulse when applied to problem area. I have used it on my knee and lower back, both producing pain relief.

I like this, although it doesn't work as well as an entire TENS unit. One issue I've noticed is that it doesn't "shock" certain parts of my body as well as other parts, such as my heel (where I typically have lots of pain) - does that mean it's not working as well? I've used this upon waking up in the morning, before bed, while driving or being driven, while at work, and I can surely see myself using this when traveling via plane. Bought the Paingone Plus to help with my shoulder pain. It does exactly as advertised as I can target the specific muscles and areas that are causing me issues. I was very surprised at how powerful it is and I can even use it on my piriformis. I have a Tens unit with the multiple sticky pads that I had been using but this is so much quicker and easier (not to mention cleaner). Its so great to just be able to grab it and do a little therapy as opposed to a big drawn out process. I would definitely recommend it! ... show more

Don't buy this. Barely gives off a pulse that makes a difference. My NueroMD tens is a thousand times better for back and neck pain. This product is a waste of money.
