It is Very soft, but not very thick... Also came vacuum sealed which made it to where it's not laying flat. Hopefully it will correct itself.

I love this carpet :) Super soft, and perfect vid my little one’s playpen. The bonus part: the carpet didn’t have a strange smell when we opened it. We bought a similar carpet for my oldest from a different seller that was crinkled and smelled like paint. It aired out and flattened eventually so we kept it. The rug isn't as thick as the pic shows.. it's very soft but it's not full enough like I wanted or thought it'd be.

I bought two rugs for my daycare. They haven’t needed cleaning as I just put them down. They are really soft and padded well. We’ll see how they stand up to tiny humans in a couple of days. But as of right now, I’m happy with the purchase.
