The Tahitian gardenia does smell very much like gardenia and it is not light but it does not give the headache. It's a fine mist so you can put just a little on and I find it does last. I'm not a flowery person. I prefer citrus so I'm going to buy a citrus one the blood orange as well and try that one. But I'm keeping this one and still using it because it really does smell nice. I highly recommend it if you like. Flowery smells and gardenia really always is beautiful. The sprayer works great. I had no problems with shipping. The size is large enough that it's going to last a long time. Ant it's not oily or greasy. It's a water base. Very fine Mist easy to control and apply.

This Pacifica scent is so amazingly addictive I’ve bought several of their products of this scent but unfortunately the longevity is almost non existent. I can smell it right after my initial application of the body mist but 10 minutes after applying, I feel like there’s not much scent that clings to me. There’s also something about Pacifica where they don’t include caps to their products. This bottle, their lotion, and the perfume all came without a cap and I’ve been so nervous to take it traveling because I feel like it might leak accidentally. The last picture is a comparison between the Amazon bottle and the one they sell at target. They’re both by Pacifica and I’m not surprised that the bottles have already changed in such a short amount of time because Pacifica changes their packaging quite often. What I’m not the most pleased with is that i believe they’ve changed their formula because the smaller (5oz) bottle smells softer and less tropical, less like Vanilla. I might have to get used to the scent again but considering that it smells different I might have to find a different scent that I like because now it’s not my favorite.

This - when dry! - has a very nice vanilla sugar smell that's subtle and good for layering. Unfortunately the water base smells bad, like musty damp basement. And because the sprayer sends a ton of very fine mist into the air, it goes straight up your nose. A more coarse droplet size would go a long way towards making this a better product.

honestly it’s so good, I have been obsessed with this scent for years, it’s like a perfect orange smell but so deep and a tad bit sweeter with a light hint of mixed other fruits, i mix it with a cedar deodorant and the combination is like a forbidden fruit forrest. If you love oranges, pls it’s such a deal for the price and doesn’t last forever but it’s definitely better than the average, and i’ve never had the bottle come broken, empty or damaged.
