i had the nimbus 17, two pairs of the 22, the gel 360, and now the 24. while the 360's were the most expensive out of them, they were also the least comfortable out of all of them. the 17s felt like walking on clouds but the heel support area did not feel like a good fit, i had to step on one side of them before putting them on so they can feel a bit more tolerable. the 22's i liked, but the mesh portion tears quite easily. the biggest problem with buying online shoes is not knowing if they will fit to where you are comfortable with them. i am extremely surprise the 24s fit just right, right out of the box. i can see where some reviewers said it did not feel wide enough for them but for me it was just right since the 22s felt a little wider. back to the 24s. well the inserts felt like they were undulated instead of just flat which is a good thing. they are cushion soft, snug, and very light as well. also i like the tongue portion of the 24's, they seem to add a snugger fit without having to tight the laces so tight that it hurts your feet. these 24s just fit right all around for me. i'm impressed asics. edit: 4/14/2023 the feel, fit, comfort are so nice that i bought another pair and thinking of getting a third. i do not even feel like i need to take them off even after having them on for 9 plus hours. seems asics make a new version and once that version is gone (by shoe size) then its gone and i dont want to take a chance on having to wait for another version that is equally good or better. i have 2 of these and 1 pair of gel 360s which are in good condition but are not comfortable like the 24s. most likely will get another pair that i can rotate them to give them longevity. edit: 21 april 23. so i bought 3 of these 24 series so far but i noticed something about the 3rd shoe. it is the same 24 nimbus series but in the black/gun metal color but there is something different about it. the other ones are in a safety yellow/black and light steel/white. the yellow/black and light steel/white fit identically and just perfect (for my feet). however the black/gun metal colored shoe feels like it is missing an extra layer of cushioning. i have extremely sensitive feet so i can tell the difference. the shoe still fits nice and comfy, but not as cushiony as the yellow/black and light steel/white colored shoes. i would rate the black/gun metal a 4.5 stars while i rate the yellow/black and light steel/white a perfect 5 stars. it just seems odd to me that these are supposed to be identical shoes (aside from color) but there is a difference in cushion depending on the color. i will probably buy a 4th pair because this 24 gel nimbus series make my feet feel so good. i dont want to risk them running out of my size while they work on their next series and it may not fit like these. so i could rotate through them evenly and they will last for years. Bought my 4th pair the cherry tomato color. It fits and feels identical to the bright green and steel white/blue. So I'm very happy with my purchases. Walking on clouds.

I tried the Bondi 7s by Hoka. They felt unstable, took my knees awhile to get used to the change in gate, and then my foot started to get a pain so bad I limped for a week after I stopped wearing them. Sure, they were cushiony, but too weird and unnatural. These Gel Nimbus shoes, on the other hand, feel almost equally cushiony as my Hoka Bondi 7s, but stable and natural at the same time. Nothing felt natural about the Hokas, but putting these on was like my feet and knees saying "Yes! These are the running shoes we've been waiting for!" I don't know how long they would last as a trail runner because there is a lot of exposed foam on the bottoms, but this is my son's second pair he's had in four years, so they do pretty well as a regular daily wear shoe (he's not a runner, though). In 4E I can only get the black/white ones, so they aren't flashy or anything, but them being boring is worth it to have shoes that work so well for running.

Can I just say WOW! When I first put these on, it felt like I strapped my feet to some memory foam pillows. Running outside, they have a noticeable spring to them, like you’re hopping on a trampoline. I’ve ran in ASICS, saucony, Nike, brooks, Altra, newtons, adidas, Zoot, Mizuno… none of them have had this springy effect. I will say, it does feel like there is a slight sacrifice in stability to give this plush spring, so I would personally be weary, as a flat footed over-pronator, to ever take these on a trail. They’re a good shoe for running on stable hard surfaces. They pass the three major tests of a running shoe: they don’t twist easily when you twist the heel one direction, and the toe the other. When pressing the shoe vertically down on the toe, the whole shoe doesn’t bend; it only bends at the toe. The heel cup is also rigid. The semi-elastic tongue is a nice touch too. It makes it very easy to slip the shoe on, and then distribute the tongue evenly on the top of the foot with a quick pull.

I trained for and ran marathons with the Gel Nimbus. After all the running, I never got a blister or a hot spot, and didn’t lose any of my toe nails either. It is by far the most comfort you will find in a running shoe. Don’t fall for trends. This is a much better shoe than the four-letter brand with an H, and for about half the price.

I got these to be shop shoes, standing on a concrete floor with flare-ups of plantar fasciitis resulting from previous shop days. They do seem to help, and are comfortable. I knocked them a star because my nimbus 23s are better. Not sure how this is an "upgrade". But overall I recommend these shoes for comfort/cusion navigating the concrete jungle.

They feel great. The cushion is good through out not just the heal, makes them great for running or walking but lack confidence for leg day at the gym. I dont usually need to order wide in asics but found these even with the laces loose to be tight across the arch so sent back for a wide. They have an elastic sock for the tounge which is super conforming. They are very light and yet the upper has support so you dont feel like its a sock with not form.

I've been running in Brooks Ghosts and had previously run on Asics. After reading the reviews on the Gel-Nimbus 24 being so comfortable with a lot of cushion, I decided to try a pair and I was not disappointed. They fit great for my 11 X-wide foot and I needed more cushion since getting back into my running routine. Highly recommended if you are looking for a very cushiony shoe that fits as expected. So far I've only run about 5 miles in them but they are great shoes. I would buy these again if I can find them. Thanks!

I’ve owned a few of these and while these are comfortable, the elastic band that serves as the tongue is a little tight on my wider feet. The only upside is I can wear them casually without tying the laces due to the elastic. Great looking and still comfortable
