    • Great for the grandkids - not too big for inside and can be used outside

I set the tent up during Christmas for the grand-kids to play in and check it out because I gave both families one to take home. The tent was very easy to setup, it seemed pretty sturdy, I will not be sure about the durability until it is used more. But overall I am really pleased with the product. I bought one to keep for when the grand-kids visit again. It fits well in a 4 x 4 space. I placed some blankets books and a couple of toys inside. The grand-kids are ages 3, 4, & 6. Their favorite thing was to go in and out. Neither of the grand-kids stayed inside very long. It would have been better for me to move away from a wall so that they could crawl through the holes to go in and out. Floor space was limited during the holidays, but in the future we can do this and/or take it outside. I really like the tent and I do believe the grand-kids did too. I hope this review helps anyone thinking about purchasing make up their mind. ... show more

    • Nice tent and very large
I was expecting what I got and it was a good price. The tent is large enough for my daughter, husband and I to sit in. It is easy to put up but really takes over the room, it is tall. I like all the doors/holes, we already had a tunnel from target circo brand and it fits in the hole perfectly. Lots of fun and I expect will hold together for a couple years. The tarp material that is the floor seems thin and cheap but I expect that is because it is an indoor tent and not meant for the great outdoors. It came in a HUGE box, the box the tent was in measured 17x17x3 inches but the box it was shipped in was 20x30x11 inches with at least 20ft of packing paper! I couldn't believe that a huge company like Amazon that ships packages of all shapes and sizes didn't have a more reasonably sized box, I was in disbelief when saw the box, what a waste. ... show more

    • Have young children who love to play pretend? This is a hit!
Highly recommend this product. Our 2.5 year old, 4.5 year old and 5.5 year old will set up a whole campground and we don’t have to lift a finger. Very easy to assemble and fun. I love open ended toys like this. Buy a few fake campfire toys and watch them go to town. It’s a big enough tent that it’s one of few items that doesn’t cause pushing and shoving either. Win for everyone! ... show more

    • A super tent and super company!
To begin, this is one fabulous company! I purchased the play tent and instantly my grandsons were in love with it. Wide enough for the 3 of us...they 6 and 3 and me 75 and short but just fine for room. Amazing that I could get down and get in! One problem: the velcro fasteners to open the front flaps did not stick. Nor did the ones for the windows! I wrote to Pacific Play Tents customer service and reached Alicia with my complaint. She quickly responded and offered a new tent even before I sent back the dud one. She was so cooperative in every way. In the mean-time, I had some velcro and fixed it myself in a few minutes so declined that excellent offer. So why buy this tent? I researched several tents before I bought this one. None fit the bill of my requirements as well as this did. So easy to assemble and put up and take down; Indoor/outdoor (we use it in our back yard woods when it's nice and bring it in when it's rainy and we need coziness; It's sturdy enough for 2 boys and a grandma that doesn't move much; it's colorful. It's what kids need to get them outdoors and into the natural world with very little effort. Get out there and slay some dragons beyond the tent then come back and eat lunch inside and read a book....about dragons, of course. ... show more

    • Simply fun
I bought this tent for my 6 year old for Christmas. She and her siblings love it. I also bought a pretend and play camp set (learning resources). They pretend camping with fires, smores, band-aids, chopping, cutting, hiking around the house, etc...My kids are 10,8, and 6. The tent serves as a fun way for them all to play together. The older kids help with making maps, setting up scavenger hunts, and suggesting fun pretend things for the younger ones. Our cat also enjoys being the big bear that is hunting for food at the campsite. Sometimes they just use the tent as a hide out to play cards or the girls will play stuffed animals. I was very pleased with the quality. I have spent more for less on this type of toy in the past. It is sturdy enough to be dragged up and down our basement steps by the kids. It is a good size for even adults to join in with 4 at a time. I would highly recommend this toy. It has already offered hours of creative fun. ... show more

    • Great price!
It is huge. Limited instructions. Basically, thread the pink pole through the pink sleeve, starting in one lower corner. Push it through, don’t pull. Repeat with the yellow pole. Two people would make it easier. Ha! But, done. Took me about 10 minutes. I’ll add tape lightly, to each of the four corners, to insure the poles stay in their pockets. Great price. For my 3 year old granddaughter, in her playroom at my house. I don’t think this would last long outside. ... show more

    • Perfect!
This is a perfect play tent. I bought it for my 8 year old daughter who had outgrown the little popup play tents, but she and her friends were still trying to use them all the time even though there was no room to really play in them. This will fit 3-4 elementary-aged kids in it, with room to move around a little, and even to stand up. Grandma even got in there once or twice. It is very easy to assemble. I can do it on my own in less than five minutes. Taking it down takes about the same amount of time. An industrious couple of kids could probably manage it on their own too, if shown how the first time. I've had some very rough play going on inside this tent. So much so that I was worried it would tear for sure and may have yelled for the kids to calm down and take it easy as the walls were pushed and pulled every which way ;), but so far it's held up beautifully. ... show more

    • Great indoor toy and great value too!
I bought this tent for my 5yr old who just recently broke his foot. We were scrambling for ideas and activities that didn't require lots of movement for his foot. Not only did this tent encourage independent play, but since he was already crawling around all over the floor anyway(becasue of his cast) this was just perfect! And an added bonus is that there are flaps where you can add the tunnels for crawling through and there is a 'lip' to the tent so if you want to add balls for playtime, you can do that too. We found a construction themed rug at our local Wal-Mart that is just about the same size as the 'floor' of this tent and so we put the rug inside and I didn't see my son for hours (although I could still hear him just fine!)!!! He was having a great time. Another bonus was that it's $10.00 LESS online at Amazon that it is at the Toys R Us store AND that's WITH the free shipping!!! It got here super quick too- just in a matter of days and arrived UPS. All in all, this was the best purchase I made since he broke his foot. Not only has it kept him entertained, but I imagine it will in the years too come- even dad kind of enjoyed it- they're planning on camping-out in the living room!!! ... show more
