I first thought these ran small until I figured how to extend the size by pressing the square clear white button on the bottom of the skates. Printed instructions come with the skates so there's no reason to be unaware of how to work these but I personally prefer to not read the instructions and instead figure things out by toying with it. These were preset to size 4 on arrival and my son wore it immediately. Everything is fully adjustable to fit snugly and appropriately. Even the lightly padded inserts are adjustable. My son is 9 years old (a month away from turning 10) and wears a size 3Y to 4.5Y in Nike running shoes (shoe size varies epending on the model of the Nike shoes). I got him the Medium size (adjustable up to a size 6) and they fit great with room to grow. ... show more

First time daughter wore these to the rink a gentleman lost his balance and his skate sort of kicked into the front of this skate --where the wheels connect. It twisted the front wheels on one skate about 70 degrees rendering them completely useless. I think this design flaw makes them an unsafe choice for children. My child was unharmed, but the wheels should not be susceptible to this occurrence. ... show more

These are narrow and do run smaller than expected. My son is a size 2.5 boys and we ordered 3-6 and had to expand one notch, but they do fit that way. He says they are very snug, but don't hurt. So, keep that in mind. I'm not sure how well these will work with wide feet. They do appear to be good quality so far and they look really cool. Will update later if need be. ... show more

I bought this pair of rollers to send to my little cousin in Cuba. They do not have rollers like this that you can buy so she had to borrow someone else's rollers, someone who has a parent who can travel abroad. Now she is in heaven. She put her picture with the rollers on on Facebook so I could see her. She really loves them. By the way, I had to pay $40.00 just to have them sent to Cuba with a "mule" or person transporting goods. A big operation!!! ... show more

My son loves these skates. He wears them all the time. He only skates inside with them, so I’m not sure how well they do outside. I was afraid to get them with all the mixed reviews, but these are perfect if you have a 6 year old that just wants to skate his little heart out.
