I really like these skates. The teal color looks great under black light and they have a really smooth roll and very easy to gain speed quickly. Bought these as a newbie for roller derby. The wheels are plastic and would need to be replaced for something better suitable for different tracks (so immediate extra $$) . Did not include the tool to remove the wheels or adjust the trucks, so another small extra cost. when I took the toe stops off to try to swap out for wider stops for stability, the threads in the skate were completely stripped and couldn't even screw them back in. If you want derby skates, for a little extra money it's worth getting a pair of reidell or bonts. ... show more

Extremely comfortable! Which was very important to me because my foot is on the wider side and they are perfect!!! The wheels roll smoothly and the skates are an overall great investment. I highly suggest getting them if you're looking for a good roller skate at a good price.
