this exhaust is not straight bolt on. Will require modifications
This exhaust is nice and looks/sounds good, but if you have a short bed single cab 4cly like I do this isn’t going to work unless you own a welder. For one the clamps are not strong enough to seal the pipe joints. It had bad leaks at every connection. The hangers will not line up so bad that the muffler won’t even be be in the rubber hanger. The tail pipe was hitting the leaf spring hanger and the sensor block off plate had to be drilled out due to it being tapped for a bolt along with the pipe which made no sense. Once you weld the pipe sections together and cut 3 inches out of the tail pipe this is a nice exhaust and sounds nice. Not to loud. I have a cheap welder so don’t mind the ugly welds but here’s what I had to do.

92 toyota pickup extra cab v-6 4x4
this unit fit my truck almost perfectly the tail pipe bend was a little off so i had to spend some time making a few adjustments (had to trim the lead pipe coming out of the cat an inch and 1/2) the tail pipe still touches the shackle upon exit gonna have to bend it a little when i get the chance. bolted on perfectly and quickely otherwise, hangers lined up proper. very satisfied with the construction.especially for the price, nice welds ,heavy duty flanges and aluminized. quiet inside and a nice drone outside seams that the people having problems with this unit are all driving 22re's (4 cil) bolted right onto the 6 cilinder truck if the tail pipe bend was better this product would have bolted on perfectly with no cutting or bending and i would have given it 5 stars

Decent exhaust
This a great affordable replacement for your rusted out exhaust. I had a harder time connecting to the headers, maybe due to the header design and not stock manifolds. The block plate for O2 sensor didn’t line up to the holes on the pipe. Still a great sound!

Took modifications
1990 v6 extra cab long bed. So I read reviews and it was mixed. Received cat back kit and got started. For the cost you'd think it would bolt right up. Not the case. Once I had all piece's kinda in place I had to cut approximately 2 inches off the intermediate pipe to get the muffler and tail section to be near the hangers. Now the interesting part is the hangers for the muffler do not have enough height. If you put them into the rubber hangers the tail pipe will hit the bed and pipe is at an angle. I zip tied loops approximately 2.5 -3 inches and fit muffler hangers into those then it fit well and flat. There maybe some design or manufacturing flaws at the factory. I would recommend only to install if you have tools and skills

Perfect Fit for 1993 Toyota Pickup 2wd STD Cab 22RE
Exhaust fit perfectly. I had to cut the lead pipe from the cat (but you are supposed to based on your truck configuration - std cab, access cab, LWB, SWB, etc). No rubbing or any leaks. Fits better than any aftermarket OEM part (Bosal or Walker for example). Sound pretty good for what it is on the 22RE motor. I did it because my stock system was rusted through, had a bad experience with a Walker catback OEM system, so I gave this a go. It’s aluminized pipe so I expect it to rust eventually but so does the OEM stuff. My pickup is not worth getting an LCE stainless steel system and this fits exactly like theirs. Very happy and only spent about $225 bucks!

Big improvement over stock exhaust
Bought this for my mom's 1991 Toyota Pickup Extended Cab RWD V6. It uses all the original hanger locations and went on like a breeze. I didn't have to modify anything what so ever. All I did was put the rear of the truck on ramps. Faught with 2 rusted bolts.. and then offered up the Pace Setter, first by assembling it on the truck hand tight with antiseize, then later going at it on all the bolts until they were all tight. It has a really nice deep tone, and exits out on the factory location (California Smog Legal) since it's a catalytic back exhaust, the polished single exit tip is a great feature. I'm hoping it will outlast the original exhaust that rusted out. I'm debating if we should also purchase the Pace Setter Headers to opimize the performance out of the exhaust.

Very nice exoust.
E exhaust is well built and fit perfectly although the muffler was extremely loud and was the first thing that I replaced

Not quite a bolt-in install.
The end result turned out well but the bends in the tail pipe section aren’t quite right. I trimmed everything to the correct length but exhaust tip would hit either the leaf spring shackle or the body. I ended up cutting off the hangers on the muffler, positioning the system where I wanted it then welding new hangers on. At the end of the day it’s a decent product but it’s lacking when it comes to ease of installation.
