Band is comfortable inside, touching skin. Cloth is smoother than Apple's related woven "Sport Loop" band for 41mm, at $49. Apple does have a newer smooth-cloth velcro band, but only for a larger-size Watch. Leaving velco cosmetics/ aesthetics aside for the moment, for many people it will be the size of their hand which limits the fit of the band. That is, whether watch plus unfastened band will slide over the hand's point of maximum circumference. The band is the same length as the Sport Loop. However unmodified, the Band is effectively a half inch shorter. Its sewn-on little leather-like logo takes that up, and stops the band from sliding out of the hasp at that end. One could remove the logo, if having to re-thread the band would be acceptable, when it slides out. Even that would be better though, than often having to unsnap and then re-fasten the hasp connector itself to the Watch. Made it as slim as possible, my hand has 9.5" maximum circumference. I would not recommend this band for any larger hand. Why not offer longer velcro-type straps? Would be a nice competitve offering, to Apple's. For no overlap, of the end of the closed band with the watch face, the -minimum- wrist size is c. 4.75" circumference. That is not a limiting factor for many, and so that end of the fit spectrum also would allow the manufacturer to offer an increase in band length. 1" width is more than the Sport Loop. Although that covers a bit more skin, it is comfortable enough and personally I say more attractive. The aesthetics of the velcro showing is fine, with the black band color. And personally I quite like it, also with the Dark Blue. The product-sales screen shows the color options, with velcro showing. Indeed you should seriously consider how you would like that combination. Cheers

I have bought third party bands for awhile. Often, many label them as comfortable, breathable with flaws. The ones gotten in between were Amazon and ebay; between velcro strap (ebay kind) and the Amazon alpine kind. I leaned more towards the alpine line just because the edges of the loop doesn't eat my wrist harshly. However, over time I often have to keep swapping last 2nd or 3rd hook hole just so it's either snug or tight. Though overtime hurts my wrist whether asleep or weight lifting heavy. Same with the velcro except those have harsh edges that are a bit hard whether you have a big wrist or not, can be annoying & over time produce pain. Here, oyodss seems to be all around comfortable. Edges are soft - kept it at snug and can do just about everything with no flaws as of yet. I was expecting the "gap" as indicated from one of the photos of other reviewers however it breaks down clearly (as shown in my photos) breaking in just evenly and fine. Tightening it is about the same except not ideal if I wanted to do heavy work or weight lifting. Ideally, snug fit worked well. In terms of design, I was concerned if the black velcro was going to show more than the woven cloth work but otherwise successfully the strap covered all of the velcro line since of course I have small wrists / and ordered the 49mm band which evidently the over lap slack covered the velcro exposure. The item respectfully deserves a 5 star and I don't often give 5 stars to straps. I do look forward ordering another just because it's nice on the eyes and including feel. Mines was a charcoal Grey but the lighter gray would have been more suitable since to me this looks like a ash gray charcoal but overall I love it.

The media could not be loaded. Definitely a solid band. Good stitch work. No tears in the band itself. Even the Velcro area seems solid. Sometimes you’ll get a Velcro area where parts of the Velcro patch are coming up. Not with this band. Me personally I’ve never liked Velcro, but I wanted to try this band out.

The watch band is lined with Velcro the entire length of the bands (loop softer side of velcro for all but the last 1 inch, then switching to “teeth”), trying for a one size fits all, but missing badly as the Velcro ends up appearing for 80% of my wrist opposed to the cloth side that is supposed to show. I pictured this showing how the entire length is black Velcro which is unfriendly to anyone with a wrist larger than 1 inch. Even if you have a wrist with a diameter of a paper towel tube (pictured, ~1 inch?…) the velcro black side will still display over half of the wrist. Also the black side face the public opposed to one’s hip.
