The paper tore as I was taking the tape off. A portion stuck to the wall. When trying to remove the paper, it removed paint from the wall. Now my wall is defective.

This peel and stick roll of wallpaper really dressed up my old and battered yellow filing cabinet. Easy to use and did what I needed it to do. I only did the front of the cabinets as the side is covered by another unit.

Beautiful, wide wallpaper. Thicker cut as well, but also tore too easy putting up first piece. Then I could never get it right, then it stuck on each other. So first piece looks terrible. However, the next couple pieces went better, but the bubbles were almost impossible to get out. I’ve worked with wallpaper many times over the years and while this is thicker than most, it’s too much to deal with. I’ll be ripping this off the wall and won’t be ordering anymore. The wood "look" of this wallpaper is only realistic from a distance. Do not use in a room where it can be viewed up close and personal (i.e. bathroom) because it becomes obvious that it is wallpaper. It was easy to apply, did not rip, and the stickiness allowed me to reposition while applying, but has held up on the wall pretty well. ... show more

This project was very inexpensive so it's ideal in that sense. From far away and in photos it looks very real. Up close not as much but that is to be expected. I agree that it rips easier than other peel and stick I've worked with but if you are careful with it you will be fine.
