The ovonics batteries are an A+ product. They have the hard case that makes them durable and helps protect the cells. They have tons of power and for being a 50c battery the run time is unbeatable. Charge right and read right. I would reccomend these batteries to EVERYONE. You can get 2 ovonics for less than the price of 1 traxxas or venom and the ovonics have a higher mah. I also have to speak about their 5 star customer service. I had ordered 2 ovonics batteries and charged them and the set wasnt charging to full capacity. I wrote a review and the next day i was contacted by Nina from the ovonics company. They sent me 2 new batteries and i recieved them within a week. The first set was just a fluke because the new ones out perform my venom and traxxas batteries. I will be buying more of their product in the near future. Thank you Nina and everyone from ovonics for making customer satisfaction an important part of your company.

These batteries are about the cheapest 2 cell 5000+mA I could find on Amazon. I broke the batteries in before going wild. This includes using 25% capacity the 1st run, 50% the 2nd run, and 75% the 3rd run. Recharge after each run. They have performed well in my 4S RC car getting it up to about 40MPH. They do get warm to the touch at 90-100 F ambient temperature. They have never gotten HOT. @100F you might get 15 minute run time. @ 40F you might get 35 minute run time. This is at lower than half throttle. I hardly use full throttle. I keep it under about 20MPH usually. I haven't had any negative issues with these batteries yet.

I have 6 Traxxas slashes that my kids and I race, and to get started we tried ZEEE and Ovonics Batteries because they were more affordable. I can say I don't have the top end speed, but up until last week I was fairly satisfied with these batteries. I have 10 of them..I bought 6 within this year (2023)... BUT this past weekend one of these batteries exploded into flames costing me my new Protek Prodigy 610 Quad charger, Redline 6000mah 130c battery I use for my Sprint Car, Protek work mat, another Ovonics battery, and my folding table. I've been racing for 6 years and have heard of this happening but never seen it. I don't abuse my batteries, I cycle them, put them in storage mode, and I don't quick charge them. Luckily we keep fire extinguisher at the end of all of our pit areas... and the main thing was my son nor I were injured. I've had 2 other Ovonics batteries get super hot on discharge, as well as, not ever fully charging which typically means some cells are going bad.

These batteries last for a very long time. I can get close to about 30-45 minutes on one charge per battery. I got them for my RedCat 1/10 International Scout II G8 V2. I definitely recommend this brand of battery for your R/C adventures. Thank you to OVONIC for your product.
