Just got these, and though I haven’t flown with either yet, I’m very curious how the 1300 mah pack could have the exact same weight as the 1100 mah pack. Gonna charge/discharge both and see what’s what. Update: the 1100s tested about 1125 mah (3.3v to 4.2), and the 1300s about 1175 mah. Flown on a 5.5” freestyle quad (AUW around 780g), both are obviously high quality packs, with plenty of amps for 2208s. Hope they hold up. Buy whichever’s cheaper, I guess.

This review is for ovonic 6S 1300 mah Lipo Battery pack. The package arrived nicely packed with 2 batteries. The plug is an XT60 with heavy duty wires. The dimensions are 80 mm long by 40 wide and 40 mm deep. It weighed 197 grams. I rigged a little test rigged with small DC heaters to provide a heavy load. A small meter showed voltage, amperage, timer and estimate of amp hours the battery is outputting. I started the test with the battery fully charged right off the charger. I tested each battery and had almost exact results. The heater provided a constant load of approximately 14 amps. I recorded the current consumed at 1 minute intervals until hearing the heater fan speed dropped and seeing the battery voltage rapidly dropping below 2.8 volts. 1 minute = 243 mAh 2 minute = 476 mAh 3 minute = 729 mAh 4 minutes = 980 mAh 5 minutes = 1100 mAh The battery was hot but could still be handled with no problem. I waited for about 30 minutes before charging. I set the charge rate at 1.3 amp hours to match the battery capacity. In both charge cycles the battery charger showed inputting 1132 mAh of current with one battery taking 56 minutes 55 seconds and the other 54 minutes 33 seconds. These are solid batteries but fall just short of the rated capacity.

These are nice XT60 battery packs, and they recharge fairly quickly without too much heat. I'm using them for combat robotics, so I can't comment on FPV racing, but these batteries seem to be accurately rated, and do not heat up excessively when discharging.

I built a new 6S quad a few months ago and only had two batteries for it, needed more. These batteries have given great performance so far. I still am in the phase of breaking them in so I haven't pushed them to any limits, but they have worked very well so far. The cells stay within a few mv of each other after balance charging and so far have a low IR. Good batteries.

Absolutely love these 6s lipos! You cannot beat the cost these pack a huge punch. The description was contradicting to It being a two pack but it is indeed a two pack that I received!

I love the small OVONIC 22.2CV 130C 6S 1300mah Lipo Battery set, weighing in at 7 ounces I am getting nice flight times on my six inch drones and they double as wing & Foam Board Airplane Batteries from time to time. The small size, roughly 3" X 1-1/2" X 1-1/2" make it easy to place them in the model for best Center of Gravity. The shorter batteries allow for placing them easily in the long battery bays on my wings - much better than the longer 22.2V cells with better performance. OVONIC does a wonderful job or wrapping a tight battery with plenty of protection without adding a ton of extra weight to the cells. The batteries charge and discharge evenly with no bad habits. I have been flying the short OVONIC batteries for a few months now, I noticed that the OVONIC batteries recover from full burst discharges very quickly - super important when flying my larger Drones 9" +. I love the performance of the OVONIC lipo Batteries, Their Factory Guarantee and Customer support are second to none.
