Wow I just finished putting (most) of my camping gear in this, and I had to come write a review. This is just perfect, which in my world generally means no pain, problems, or setbacks. Everything went smoothly, and the finished "product" is a gem! I am 6 foot, 310 pounds, and not muscle. I couldnt believe it when - fully loaded - I easily slipped it on, adjusted it all in one take, and no issues! Even the waist belt didnt give me any issues, which is astounding. I will get to the pockets in a second, but I am still stressing how there was no discomfort on a large overweight man - and again, first try! No hours of adjustments or needing a second persons assistance. Most impressive are the front main straps. They have just enough thickness to spread the weight so you dont feel any pressure even with it fully loaded, but they stop at just the right spot to avoid digging into the softer armpit area which I was concerned about. I give this pack my highest recommendation for not just quality, but their engineering that distributes the weight in a way so you hardly feel it, and nothing digs in or hurts. And it fits! The pocket design is also brilliant, but Id really need a second review for it - just take my word it all makes as much sense as the effort put into their weight distribution and construction expertise. My son wanted a camping backpack for boy scouts that fit his sleeping bag and gear. We tried several bags but this one fit everything and then some and was tons cheaper than what was offered in stores. He will get a ton of use out of it and said it worked out great.

This bag is big but, is built very well and collapses down to a manageable size when not in use. I use mine for grocery shopping as my store is just a couple blocks away. Thus bag has carried 6 6packs of 20oz soda with no problem and I still felt secure and safe.     • Zippers break after light use
This backpack is very useful for what I do for work and can carry a lot of items. Unfortunately the zippers break and become useless after about 2 weeks of light use. The top compartment and bottom compartment are unusable now.

Using this bag to haul martial arts equipment and love the expansion option with the dual zippers. I wish the bag had some sort of reinforced base or nubs to protect the bottom as this is what finished off my previous backpack option. Would also have prefered the cover flap to be attached to the backpack with a seam over the 2 adjustable straps. Sort of a nit pick given most people will use this for hiking/camping, but just putting it out there. Overall the build of the bag looks like a good value for the price. ... show more
