We're on the Atlantic coast, right by the ocean, the salt air from which is lethal to all materials both indoors and out. Although it's been a mild winter so far (thanks, global warming), this cover has stayed in place so far and managed to repel the winter rain. I'm sure it would do the same for snow, if we still got it. It stays in place thanks to the little click-straps (like tiny seatbelts) at the base, and was light and easy enough to manipulate into place.     • Thin Material But Appears to Be Durable - Time Will Tell

A cover like this is a difficult thing to initially review because what matters most from this type of product is strength, durability and most of all longevity! You don't know how it will stand the test of time until time passes but I'm giving it the benefit of doubt with a four star rating. Having said that below are the pros and cons as I see it: PROS: Very easy to maneuver on the furniture because of its light weight. The draw strings on the bottom make it easy to pull tight around the table as needed. Because it is so large and light weight you're able to cover a multitude of outdoor items. CONS: Not sure how resilient the cover will be when it's windy and pulled against the sharp edges of the table due to the thinness and lightweight properties of the cover. Again time will tell after which I can update this review. Also the buckle strap lengths are relatively short so it's a bit difficult to buckle around an entire leg of the table, so I had to use chair legs. Chairs are lighter which make them easier to move around and potentially rip the cover. My overall first impression is that it is a pretty good cover and has the potential to be a reliable cover over time. ... show more

Patio furniture cover During the winter storm of 2022, we had piled all of the porch cushions on the interior wall (see the first picture) thinking that would protect them. That was a fail. The entire interior surface of the porch was covered in 3 inches of snow. Weeks later we are still trying to dry the cushions out. We needed a better solution, and this patio furniture cover looked like an option. The Good: • The cover is huge. It covers our antique glider, all of the cushions for the glider, and all of the back and seat cushions for 5 other big chairs. • The fabric is tough. As we were fitting the cover over the glider, out dog instantly jumped up and tramped around on the cover. Her claws didn’t leave a mark on the cloth in any way. • There is no odor in the fabric. The dog is sensitive to smells. If she wanted to “own” the cover, there is no odor. • The storage bag is nice and big/loose. It won’t be a struggle to store the cover in the spring. • The cover looks so much better than our piles of cushions on the porch. The Bad: • Nothing. GRADES Price: A +__This is a great price for a huge cover. Ease of use: A __The cover opened easily and was easy to handle. Not the best fit over our outdoor table & chairs, probably because I ordered the wrong size or you're not supposed to keep the chairs under it too. Despite that, it'll serve its purpose of protecting the furniture from the harsh elements of winter. Weighted ours down with the umbrella so the wind won't catch under the cover. Was surprised to see an insulated liner on the inside, adds to the durability. ... show more

While the cover fits over our table and chairs, I’m glad there are pull cords to cinch the sides tighter. There are also clips. Whether we clipped them as they were intended, I only care that the cover doesn’t blow away. The problem we have is that our chairs are taller than the table. Because of that, any cover we use, ends up being like a bowl for water. Have tried elevating the center in order for water to run off but water has a mind of its own. Fit perfectly over grouped patio sofa chair and table. The tie downs have held up against a week of rain and wind storms. The material is thinner than previous covers of this nature. But the price point is perfect (for something that generally lasts 2 years then dissolves due to sun exposure). Only time will tell. Supposedly the silver lining protects from UV. This isn't a bad little cover but was hoping it would be a little more heavy weight. The material is all right but seems pretty thin...so not sure how long it will actually last. I got it to cover a table and chairs and it's great for that....a little large but not a problem. The straps are good and it goes down far enough to not worry about it blowing away. Winter isn't bad here as a rule so it should be good there....but I do wonder how our brutal summers will affect it. It's overall not a bad product just expected heavier but really can't say how long it may last.....so it may last as long as other thicker ones I have. ... show more
