No problems with the bucket, the lid fits well, it’s a true 5 gallon, good handle, and I love the rich blue color. But, I was in a hurry to buy it because my town is forcing composting in specific sized plastic bags, and I wanted a nice looking one that could sit in my garage near my kitchen door and look good. And it does - just be careful you’re not in a rush like I was, and you end up paying $9.99 for the bucket and $15.99 for shipping and handling! We now call it the “golden” bucket. Can’t believe I didn’t hit the prime button before I started my search! Lesson learned. Good thing it’s a great color and it does look nice! ... show more

If you’re trying to keep your bird fits on your balcony or anywhere outside with any feed in it, be careful. The squirrels got to my bird feed that was kept in these buckets. The plastic wasn’t quite thick enough to stop them from chewing it.
