This ring is terrifying. I can not open it at all with out having both fingers on it and a way to find where to put my nail to try to pop it. Its like prying at rocks my fingers are red and the latch is still stuck shut. As if I would put this in my ear

I saw a lot of the other reviews say they were unbothered. While I do have to say my sensitive ears did not react negatively, these hoops are a little uncomfortable. I got the 6mm hoops, it could just be a sizing issue (maybe too small). They didn't feel to tight or loose and it looked fine, yet I could not sleep on one side because my that part of my ear would become irritated. It is a little hard to take out, so I use tweezers to grasp one end and my hand on the other to pull it apart. Also, the piercing will move every once and the diamond/studded part will make your piercing hole itch. Unfortunately, it bothered me so much that it ended up agitating and stretching my piercing hole, which resulted in my removal of it. I will wear it ever once in a while because I do have to say it looks good. It does not look or feel like cheap quality and will not turn green when exposed to water. ... show more
