This case has held up better than any of the random brands on Amazon, it is definitely worth the extra few bucks. However this case is a little lower quality than I would’ve expected from otterbox. The image printed on the case is low resolution and looks way blurrier than the original image up on Amazon. If you care about looks and appearance you might not be happy with how it looks in person. Also the case hasn’t held up as well as I would’ve expected for an OtterBox. The paint is starting to chip off the corners after about a month of use. Like other comments have said the case is a bit slippery, as slippery as a phone without a case, but I prefer a slippery case over a sticky case. Those are all the cons I can think of. It’s a good case, I’ll be using it for a while 6 month update: Do not trust this case to keep the back glass safe from scratches. Over the past few months this case has stretched and now has gaps around all the edges of the phone. Meaning little tiny specs of dirt and sand can get into the case and between the back of the phone and the case, scratching up the back glass. I wouldn’t recommend this case if you plan to use it for over 6 months. That being said I warrantied the case and otterbox sent me a replacement, in a color I didn’t like, but they sent a replacement. ... show more

Dear OB, I bought my 9yo a brand new iPhone 13 but as a kid he doesn’t know how to take care of his nice things. I upgraded him from an 8Plus because that battery wouldn’t last an hour. It used to be my ex wife’s phone then my stepsons phone and then it was passed dow to him. He has dropped his phone a couple times on concrete and the case protected his phone which was a good thing. So far so good. A couple of nicks but that’s about it and it works perfectly thanks to the case. I’m a Mous fan but it was way too expensive for a 9yo but I’m confident the Mous case is better because I use one for my 13Pro. It is what it is and I’m happy with the level of protection it offers.
