I have dropped the phone several times on hard surfaces from a standing position and there has been no damage to the phone. It is also unobtrusively thin so it doesn’t detract from the slim nature of the phone. I have used other cases which are overly thick. This one is just perfect and easy to attach. I have used the Otterbox commuter series on 3 different phones. I’ve tried others, but I always come back to Otterbox. This case feels tough and has just the right amount of grip (still easy to slide in a pocket). The commuter doesn’t add too much extra bulk to the phone; however, I do wish the 15 Pro version had just a liiitle bit more camera protection. All in all, the case fits and does its job well. Your cord has held up fine so far as I have had issues with other OtterBox cases before.
