Description

Since Osprey was founded in 1974, every single product design has passed through the hands of owner and founder Mike Pfotenhauer, who created his first backpack at age 16. In Santa Cruz, California, the young entrepreneur opened a retail shop in the front of his rental house where backpackers and travelers came for custom-fit, made-to-order packs constructed over several days by Mike himself. As the demand for the great-fitting packs increased, Osprey found itself relocating to its current home in Southwest Colorado. Today, Osprey is a melting pot of diverse personalities, backgrounds and abilities. All share the common belief that adventure is open to everyone and found anywhere.

  • Great inside-pack packing cubes.
Size: One Size Color: Tropic Teal
Love these bags. I use two of the 12Ls and two of the 6Ls for camping. I am a big dude with big clothes, but the 12s will swallow two cargo pants and two button-up shirts fairly well, and you can compress a lot of air out as you roll the top closure. The smaller ones hold socks, underwear, t-shirts, thermals, etc... I also like that they end up more rectangle-shaped than cylinder shaped when packed. They let me minimize the space my clothing takes up in the pack, though not the weight. They also give me some additional assurance that I will not be sleeping in soaking wet clothing if I don't get my pack cover out in time or I slip in a stream, etc... They aren't magic and won't keep water out on sustained submersion, but they are reasonably light weight and help me keep things organized in my pack. These held up well through a lot of hiking trips, including Philmont, but they are definitely not abrasion resistant. They do great inside my pack, or inside tougher dry bags like the Sea Line Bajas I use for water sports. But as water-resistant packing cubes, I think they are fantastic for their purpose. ... show more

  • Compact and sturdy
Size: One Size Color: Tropic Teal
Love it! It’s a great piece that can fit a lot and pack really small. I trust this brand and can tell the quality is excellent. I used to have a regular dry bag and the locks came off due to heat! I only used it for 2 trips! But this osprey is gonna last a long time I can tell already! So happy I got it and at a great price too ... show more

  • Best Lightweight Sil-Nylon dry bag.
As always, Osprey has hit it out of the park with a simple, lightweight design for a dry bag. The ruggedized rip sttop Sil-Nylon material is tough and keeps your kit dry. The clip attachments are durable and have a ring to keep a carabiner on without side loading the clip. The bottom of the bag also has a loop to hang the unit when cleaning and drying. This unit is half the weight of the REI brand and works better for the same price. I won't buy anything else from here on out. ... show more

  • Super small and effective
Size: One Size Color: Tropic Teal
I use this dry bag to keep my wet bathing suit separate from the dry items in my backpack. The bag is super small, unlike other dry bags that are made out of thick material... so it's easy to add to my backpack without weighing it down.

  • Perfect size for a weekend hike
This was the perfect size to fit 3 days worth of clothes. I was able to compress it down so it did not take a bunch of space in my pack. It rained the first day, but the clothes stayed dry

  • Good quality, non-Dyneema roll-tops.
These work, but are not the E-vent style. Good quality fabric, stitching , etc. They are light & roll top works well. Not hyper-lite Dyneema, but very good quality roll-tops. Will soak out eventually, but water resistant. The colors are cool.

  • Great quality
Very light weight stuff sack, I have had the outdoor products generic stuff sacks for a while just wanted one that was a little bit bigger to stuff my tent into and this is the stuff sack I ended up using. I really like the rectangular bottom that this has. It has a much higher quality feel than the outdoor products. An example being something as simple as the buckle. ... show more

  • Great for backpacking/camping
Size: One Size Color: Tropic Teal
Bought a whole host of these for backpacking/camping. I love the various sizes and colors. They are super light weight, so far have been very durable, and don't take up much room, so I can always pack a spare one by hanging it from my backpacking pack.
