Great backpack with lots of adjustable fit features (chest/hip strap). Hip-belt pockets are particularly useful to stow small items. Water bottle side pockets are not really big enough for a Nalgene, so used the front pocket. Put quite a lot of strain on front pocket and holes formed after 1 week of very heavy use (Scout camp). Not as comfortable as most of the reviews. Very cumbersome, drink bottles are hard to get in and out, unless your an octopus. Straps are irritating to use. Runs small. Trekking poles holder sucks and was broken. Not a good bag for a long day hike. Flatlanders will probably like it. I returned it for REI's traverse 32 and couldn't be happier. Same money, more room, easier to use. So many more options, much more comfortable and supportive, lighter, holds alot more gear sensibly, and well balanced. Great pack from a great company. My only complaint is that both the sm/med and large/x-large are labeled the Talon 22. But the sm/med pack isn't 22 liters as the name implies. You have to buy the larger pack to get the size that the naming implies.
