Once you start tossing things in -- rain jacket, rain pants, sweater, snacks, first aid, charger, maps, etc. -- it gets pretty tight. This is a slim pack. It seems to be well made, however, the strap to hand carry at the top is too thin. This pack works well for arm maneuverability. Fits my 6'2" frame well, where a lot of packs were too short. I don't find it quite rugged enough to carry much in the way of heavy photo equipment.

I've been using this pack heavily for just shy of a year now. Absolutely perfect for me. I've used it as a day pack, school bag, beach bag, and just general edc. I pushed the limits of it this last week and used it for a 4 day 79 mile backpacking trip in rough, unmarked, and untraficked terrain solo + cowboy camping. Not what any average person using this pack would/should do haha. This bag is definitely not designed for what I've put it through and it has yet to rip or get a stuck zipper. I don't see myself ever using a different pack except for mountaineering or through hiking. ... show more

This is a great backpack for a child who travels internationally and enjoys hiking. The size is perfect for a carry-on and also works great for day hikes. If purchasing for an adult, I would recommend the Osprey Talon 26L for a bit more room.
