My wife and I got these 2 his/hers backpack travel bags for a two week trip to Japan. Initially I was worried it would be too small. It turned out to be just the right size for “one bagging”! And actually it is big enough for the entire trip and more! A larger bag would tempt us to take more than we needed. If there’s things we want to take home we can just buy a small bag to check on the airline. Honestly, a bigger bag makes me want to pack more. For a developed country you don’t need much, if you need something and forgot it, you can buy it anywhere. I took more clothes than I needed, and with the help of laundry sheets I was able to stay clean and fresh. For two weeks you don’t need much, and can wash what is needed. Many shirts and pants went unused. I love this bag, it allowed me to get on a plane, train, and bus without having to check anything in! It was so convenient and comfortable that I’m using it for all my travels now. The price is worth it. I do recommend a very small light weight daypack for when you drop this off at your destination. Purchased this bag for my trip to Korea (2 weeks) I didn’t want to take check in luggage and since we were going to be traveling within Korea I wanted a backpack that would make it easier to travel considering all the stairs. I am 5” and the fit was perfect, you can adjust the straps as well. It was very comfortable while wearing and provided enough space for everything I took! I tend to overpack and even with planning I still overpacked for this trip. But I was able to fit everything inside! Overall very happy and backpack is overall very accessible and the quality is fantastic!! Will definitely use this for many years to come. Pros :I used this for luggage on a trip around the UK. I only took this piece of luggage for a 2 month trip. I took a lot of lightweight clothes, 3 dresses, 3 skirts, swimsuit, six cotton shirts, underwear and pjs and a small light towel. Cosmetics and bar shampoos and flipflops It is roomy and very well built. It fits in the overhead of large aircraft and under the seat of smaller ones. It is sooo comfortable to carry, seems to disburse the weight well, even for an older person (58). Very easy to carry. Cons: once packed I could not fit a water bottle or anything in the front outside pocket, it is too tight so that pocket is a waste. You cannot really use packing cubes, they take too much room. The best way to pack is to roll your clothes. I would have liked a proper zipped outside pouch. Other than that I love it. ... show more

It’s also comfortable on the shoulders and back. Mine was overpacked so I couldn’t attach the backpack to it, but I wore it on my front and that worked. Okay so I love the main backpack (the big one). It is spacious and fits a lot and easy to open up and organize BUT the smaller backpack that attaches to the front is probably the most poorly designed and useless backpack I’ve ever used. It barely fits anything at all and is so skinny. It has an extra compartment at the top which doesn’t make sense because the bottom is then skinnier than the top and you can’t zip it. So it is still worth the buy, but don’t expect to get much in the small backpack except a laptop or maybe some toiletries or something. Overall tho the backpack has been great for traveling, holds up for months of consistent stuffing it full and forcing the zipper lol. Lasts and is worth the money! ... show more

Took this bag with me for a 14 day trip to Italy. Managed to fit at least 8 days of clothes in the duffle and one extra pair of tennis shoes. Luckily I was able to do laundry while overseas. I am 5' 4" and after adjusting the straps for my torso it was super easy to carry and very comfortable. I had no issues getting this bag on the plane or the trains over in Italy.
