  • Excellent
Size: Small/Medium Color: Mythical Green
Loved way it was designed I have Stratos 36 and this just larger version Sadly I had to return it because I wanted it for treestand hunting The 2 shades of green and some black looks good but afraid deer would see it Material excellent durable but too noisy for hunting I know OSPREY dosen’t target hunters sadly so it was my fault but I really wanted it to work I loved the top lid with a nice zippered compartment Hikers would love it and it easily holds several days of gear Thanks for reading! ... show more

  • SO 'EFFIN COMFORTABLE!
Size: Large/X-Large Color: Mythical Green
So I decided to replace my 20+ year old internal frame pack. I did a bunch of research and read all the reviews. Everything pointed me to the Osprey Atmos AG 65. So. Happy with my purchase. I received it on Friday and hit the trails Saturday morning (Laurel Highlands Hiking Trail) with my son's Scout Troop. My pack weighed in at 28 lbs. Now keep in mind, I haven't back packed in 9 months. We hiked 11 miles. At mile 5, the Troop leader asked who had a sweaty back? Not me :) Who's shoulders were sore? Not me :) Who hips were sore? Not me :) I would ABOSLUTELY recommend this pack to everyone! ... show more

  • Speak design and weight transfer
Size: Small/Medium Color: Black
I carry about 50 kg of weight and the functions of this bag is amazing, the distribution of weight allows me to scale high inclines with ease and the weight is supported perfectly on the lumbar. Side pocket access for water collection and food/lighting is easy on the waist band. I absolutely love the quick pull out rain cover, it was the cherry on top! Already used on 6 hiking/backpacking trips in the andirondacks. Highly recommend ... show more

  • Just completed Annapurna circuit in Nepal
Size: Small/Medium Color: Venturi Blue
The bag performed extremely well through out the entire track. The small/medium size side back facing pockets are great for stuffing easy to get items and are decently deep. I am a fan of built in pockets for easier storage. Quality and construction of this bag are top notch. My complaint to the manufacturer is to please make the top bag/flip bag, that goes over the main body of the bag, to please make it a buckle release/ Mort resilient removable verses feeding material through a tightening system. ... show more

  • Nice upgrades with one con
Size: Small/Medium Color: Venturi Blue
I really like most of the new changes on this upgraded pack. The side access to the main compartment is a welcome addition as are the lashing points on the brain of the pack (helps to lash my sleeping bag, so that I can carry the bear canister inside the pack without sacrificing space). The materials used a recycled, which is good, but hope they last as long as the regular materials. I haven't had the terrible squeaking so far that the my prior version bag had. This squeaking was pretty common (the bag would let out squeaking sounds with every step - highly annoying when hiking. Time will tell if that squeaking has been addressed by addressing the frame build. My only con is that they have reduced the maximum weight capacity. The prior version in Medium, had a load capacity of 30-50 lbs. This new bag is now 30-40 lbs. This might be enough for those that backpack with little gear, but we like to take lots of food on our 8 day trips to the Yosemite Wilderness and the reduced capacity is giving us pause. Other than that recommend this bag. ... show more

  • Fits like a glove
Size: Small/Medium Color: Venturi Blue
Very comfortable and a cool pack. As in cool temperature. Netted panel on back works extremely well for alleviating perspiration between the pack and back. Seems like a durable pack. Fit great right out of the box. Very adjustable. I like the features and how comfortable it is to wear and the ventilation. ... show more

  • Just awful
Size: Large/X-Large Color: Black
Worst pack redesign update ever. All the buckles have been changed out for a lower quality buckle. They removed the flap cover on top. And the top sack is detachable but not by buckles but by using the straps. Once you do take the top sack off, if you want to stuff it down in your pack and no longer use it then you are left with two compression straps that are abandoned. The top of your pack also will have a hole in it once you cinch it down. I called osprey customer service and they told me just to use the rain cover if I took the top sack off. The more expensive Aether pack has all the older and better quality hardware, but amazingly terrible frame on the Aether hurts my back. It even has a top lid and buckles on the top sack. Basically all the good stuff they took off of the Atmos they left on the Aether. ... show more
