Really like this bookcase, goes well with the decor in the house, however I am going to have to buy another, being that it isn’t quite as a large as I was expecting, the reference photos for this item I feel are a bit off. if you have large collector editions of books, you might not want to purchase this case sadly, the height of each shelf can only hold standard sized books for the most part. However, the assembly was relatively easy and it doesn’t look half bad. It’s a pretty good choice if your looking for a budget option. ... show more

I ordered two bookcases because I didn’t think one would be enough. I was right. I am glad that I did. The instructions were easy to follow, I had all of my tools that came with, but it took a minute to assemble. But, once I got going into building the bookcase, one by one, it became easier. Although the bookcase looks like library stacks because of their open design, they are strudy. I have some heavy books, and the shelves are working great. I'm a bit concerned about the melamine shelves (the rest is metal) due to VOCs off-gassing, but I haven't smelled any chemical smell. It's definitely easier to dust the books because there is no back. They slide out easily for cleaning--my other wood bookcases are heavy; these are lightweight. The shelf height also works well for my larger books, though the depth of the shelves is only 11.6", so larger, longer books may stick out. My two bookcases are in a corner, so they steady each other. If on a wall, you might want to secure them to the wall, so they don't fall over. Happy with my purchase so far. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Check the measurements first! I bought this for display children’s books but the depth is just for board books. Other than that, it’s pretty.
