    • Misleading "Rose" scent
The bottle design is beautiful & I love roses. The scent lasts very strong for 24 hours. Unfortunately, there is NO hint of rose at all. It has a very musky odor & it's hardly tolerable. It shouldn't be referred to as rose. It's non returnable, so I guess I flushed $31.00 down the drain.

I agree with the other reviews. First, after the alcohol fades, it does smell like roses. At the same time, my very first impression was "musty, very old church basement." There's something about it that doesn't quite do it for me. I was looking for an affordable alternative to Lancome's Midnight Rose or La Vie est Belle en Rose, since what the price used to be for 3.4 oz now only gets you 1.7 oz. (insane) This one doesn't do it. I will make do with it while it lasts, but look for another alternative. ... show more
