So why I didn’t purchase this years ago for my ‘20 F-150 is beyond me. My wife’s ‘23 F-150 has had it from the get go and I liked it so much that it was a no brainer. Same brand, same parts, straight forward, no hassle, works great! Instructions were clear and I know when searching that there anre plenty of instructional videos available. I did this with a shattered ball socket and broken humerus on my non dominant arm (basically useless), install taking about 10-15 minutes. Comes with everything needed and the tool but I cheated as I had the star/allen head sockets with a wrench handy as I was not at the time. I can attest that it’s been wonderful not having to assist the tailgate from slamming down or risk injuring the arm in doing so.
