Easy to install and works perfectly. The tailgate now opens smoothly and steadily. Very nice addition to the tailgate. You have to remove the tailgate anchor point because it won’t allow it to close, so you lose that feature. But you seldomly use those anyways.

It seems to be holding up well. Very easy to install. The only issue was there was a clip attached to my tailgate from the factory that I had to remove that wasn’t in the instructions.

Easy to instal, basically common sense and takes less than 5 min. You need 10mm socket or wrench and a 5mm Allen. It lowers the tailgate quickly and gently, and raising takes no more effort than before. Came with thread lock too. There is some noise at the bottom end of the stroke on but nothing crazy at all. Will update if I have any issues

I like the product and even though the cable is wrapped in a form of plastic it still rubs. It was easy to install. It works great. I just don’t like the cable ripping the strut.
