My sticker says Sunkist, Organic, Valencia, USA. Thick skin, juicy but semi sweet, kind of sour. The photo shows a yellow orange more like a grapefruit. The Valencia is hybrid pummelo × mandarin orange from Cali. What I got is a medium-large sized orange orange, tasted basic and nothing special.

    • Remember, Valencia = seeds
I'm so used to buying Navel oranges, I forgot that Valencias 1)have seeds, and 2)have weirdly yellow-green, harder-to-peel skin. As far as just the taste and juice, this orange was pretty good. Valencia oranges are probably best left for making fresh-squeezed juice, or in other situations where someone else is peeling it and digging out the seeds in advance.
