We have it semi-permanently mounted for access to the back porch, and it's been out in the weather for all of that time, with only occasional times we've folded and put it away for a delivery or another reason. This ramp is durable and so easy to move from door to door for when my granddaughter visits. It folds easily to carry with handle and is light enough to carry with one hand. Her wheelchair and her gait trainer both fit on the ramp. It has little posts that can lock it in place but it is very secure without them (I didn’t want to drill in threshold or stone). It does not flex at all when an adult stands on it. I highly recommend this ramp for a single step up (a longer ramp would be needed for a higher step or to span more than one step). ... show more

The ramp is sturdy, and will probably hold up but there is a large gap between the ramps and the gap goes from narrow to wider as it goes up. I hope the hinges can hold up as they are taking the majority of the pressure.
