  • Quick run through
This manga gave a very brief wrap up if Kakeru’s life after his friends saved his life. While I love knowing what happened after, I am also very disappointed this is the last manga. To the powers that be: if the author decides to go more in depth with this storyline, I would 100% buy it all.

  • Love this series!
I loved this series and it makes such an emotional ending for all the characters even some from their points of view! I have the dvd and happy to have this in my collection of manga books!

  • I can't believe this series is now officially over
I can't believe this series is now officially over. I will miss these characters. This one was a bit slow for me in comparison to the other volumes but I still loved it. Also so happy about the last chapter. Having the characters from Orange and Dreamin' Sun meet like that was so sweet and funny. I hope to see more from this author in the future. ... show more

  • Definitely recommend if you love the series Orange!
"Happiness is never far away. It's not something you search for but something you realize !" In true fashion, this final volume starts just as heart-hitting as every volume prior to this one has been. In fact, after the first chapter, I had to put it down when I first started it because I was not "in that mindset" where I felt I could read and handle this volume. Despite that I was nervous about how this ending would unfold, I found I really enjoyed this volume overall! I have LOVED all of Naho and Kakeru's friends and found great joy (tied in with sadness) in seeing a variety of situations from their perspectives. Since the main series is from Naho's perspective (excluding the previous volume since it's from Suwa's), it was refreshing and moving to see how much Kakeru's friends also deeply cared for him, not just Naho. It reminded me of why I loved the series and how this isn't a girl-saves-boy story (though I do confess those vibes felt stronger in this one since we also get Kakeru's perspective) and is more of a group of loving friends coming together to help their hurting friend and see him smile once more. There was even more emphasis on how Kakeru can talk to ANY of them about anyTHING and deeply loved that. It reminded me that when I'm hurting, I can always (and should!) reach out to those around me because we are all more loved than we realized. <3 One thing I found interesting in reading this is that after the chapter that featured Suwa's perspective, I went back and reread some of Orange Future and how much sadder his storyline was. While Orange Future is my favorite volume in the series (and wrecks me every. single. time.), Orange to You, Dear One definitely felt much more like the final conclusion. I didn't realize how sad Orange Future was until I unknowingly compared it to this volume because the happiness is much more apparent in Kakeru's timeline. (My heart still breaks how harsh Suwa was on himself in the previous volume *sobs*) In that sense, I think I liked this one a little differently. It's sort of like the ending the you always hoped for Kakeru and the genuine joy you feel when someone you care for continues to live on despite how hard life may be. <3 I have not read Dreamin' Sun, but I LOVED that crossover bonus manga/chapter at the end! It was so fun and found I definitely wanted to read that series at some point just so I could know who the characters were! LOL! Overall, this is a moving and very heartfelt ending that while at times leaves your heart heavy, it also fills you with deep hope and how we all have value and deserve happiness. Definitely recommend if you love the series Orange! "We won't let you cry alone. Let's cry together when you're hurt." ... show more

  • Probably didn't need to be part of the series
This feel like it was created because of the success of the previous books in the series. I don't think it was necessary and feels more like a collection of short stories that the author probably put out for free on a Patrion. Overall I don't think this added anything to the experience.
