My dentist was after me for years to use an electric toothbrush, so I finally did. I recently put the second Oral B Pulsar to work (from my two-pack). I brushed with the first one at at least three times a day for more than four months before the battery finally gave out. The bristles still were in pretty good shape, but with the brush so cheap it hardly pays to install another battery like YouTube suggests can be done. This toothbrush is virtually the same size as an ordinary toothbrush, so it makes a wonderful brush for travel too. Needs no recharger or counter space. Best of all, it cleans great! ... show more

    • Simple and effective
I have other electric toothbrushes but they are bulky as to the handle because that's where the batteries go. This one has a thinner handle, easier to hold and works well. The bristles hold up well. Considering the what I consider excessive costs of rechargeable electric toothbrushes that are not considered disposable, I think this is much better cost wise, I mean how can you justify hundreds of dollars for toothbrushes - maybe there is something I'm not aware of with the expensive models but this just seems to be the way to go for me. I'd hate like heck to pay $50 or $100 or $150 for toothbrushes and find it didn't hold up to wear and/or perform so I feel confident buying these. I do think maybe the bristles are on the firmer side which is a consideration as to receding gum line problem so if you have that this might not be the best thing for you or else keep that in mind when you use it. ... show more

Who knew a battery powered toothbrush could be this quiet? A+ for not disturbing other people. B for brushing effectiveness. A for being easy to hold. Doesn't beat my Oral B rechargeable for deep cleaning but a wonderful travel toothbrush.

I use an Oral B ION but it is a bit large for travelling, so I saw these toothbrushes and they work great. Nice grip on handle and the size of a regular toothbrush. Would definitely buy again.
