I am an old school person and never thought an electric toothbrush was worth it. It always seemed like time and hassle, and my manual skills have done me well over the years....so who needs a product like this? Right? ....well I was wrong! I used this for the first time and the feel of my teeth after use was night and day. It gets everything out. For those of you who dont floss (and I know thats 99% of you) the electric toothbrush doesnt exactly replace flossing, but it gets in there way better than your manual brush - at least I think it does. I admittedly didnt run a head to head scientific study, but I had corn for dinner last night and I am always working it hard with the brush before sleep. The Oral-B iO Series 2 was effortless! I cant compare to prior Oral-B models, but for the value this is a great product.

I've used Oral-B products for years now but I'm still a little on the fence with this brush - I like it but I don't know if I would purchase this style again. The brush head is small but still holds enough toothpaste to do its job. The brush is easy to turn on, and has three different settings. It spins and does clean well, although it's definitely not a replacement for flossing. It's meant to have a 30 second vibrating warning to let you know when to move to a different section of your mouth .... although I have yet to notice it. I tend to move the brush around anyway ... just a bit more slowly than I would a manual brush. The brush does seem to cut out at random times .... mainly when I'm trying to brush around my back teeth, not necessarily when I'm applying too much pressure. I tested that but it kept on spinning. I like that it is fairly quiet - too much high pitch buzzing reminds me of the dentist which is not my favorite place ! I'm happy to keep using this brush for now. I like the green color and the brush is easy to clean. The set comes with only one spare brush. Replacement heads vary in price from around $2 to about $12, which is a bit insane.

Oral-B iO toothbrush starter kit that comes with the base, two toothbrush heads, charger and instructions. It is a fantastic toothbrush - super easy to set up and charge. Does a great cleaning job. The only issue is the that toothbrush head is twice the size of the Oral-B 1000 series, so that is an adjustment, but not necessarily a bad thing. The bristles on the brush heads are super soft. The toothbrush has a timer that alerts you every 30 seconds and then longer once two minute brushing is complete. There is a sensor that flashes red if you are brushing too hard. I really had to jam it into my teeth to see if the alert worked (apparently I am not an aggressive toothbrusher). Overall, it is an excellent rechargeable toothbrush and I would definitely recommend it to everyone. I also love the green color.

I love electric toothbrush and this one is excellent! It cleans so well and it is so easy and intuitive to use. it comes with 3 intensity modes, as well as a timer (which I dont use but I guess it might be a great feature for some). Battery last a LOT! I haven't had to charge it since I got it, it does come with a charging base either way, as well as 2 brush head replacements. The bristles are super soft and gentle on the gum, but it has a sensor for that as well so if you are going too hard it will flash a red light. A very technological toothbrush, would recommend

This toothbrush is awesome. I got it for my teen who needs to brush better, but who whines about his Sonicare cause it tickles. This was our compromise - does more than his efforts alone, but doesn't tickle. It seems like it's good quality and will last for years to come. My son prefers this spinning action and will use it without a problem. I have never owned a spin brush like this before, so I have nothing to compare it to, but it seems like a big step up from a manual brush.

Good starter kit with the brush and two heads. It works well and has a 30 second quadrant timer. It says something about two minutes but mine never turns off, it just keeps going. Value-wise, it isn't the greatest. For Oral-B, it's there least expensive iO series brush. There are many other brushes that will perform just as well and cost substantially less.

This is my first oral-B electric toothbrush. I have used sonic electric brushes (generic brands) in the past. The oral-B is obviously more expensive than those, but it is a different cleaning mechanism (spinning vs vibrations with sonic). The 3 intensity modes work well. The 2-min timer is pretty common now, but useful. The automatic pressure sensor is great to remind to be gentle! It came in charged and I haven't had to charge it yet, so cannot comment on battery life. It comes with a charging base, so you can just place the brush handle on it to charge. My only complaint is that it came with 2 brush heads; my sonic brushes came with as many as 8 replacement heads. I did find generic replacement heads on Amazon that are compatible with this handle and cost less than the original, that I will buy when the included ones wear out. Overall, I am happy with this toothbrush.

I had an older Oral B electric toothbrush and it was about time to replace the battery didn't last very long and it lost a bit of it's power. To say that this new model was stronger and more quiet is an understatement. While I know some of the contrast when comparing to my older model comes from an aging product. I don't remember it ever feeling this strong. I really appreciate the pressure sensor too. I never really knew how hard I should be pressing against my teeth. Sometimes I'd cause bleeding. This helps take the guess work out of the equation.
