I've had an Oral-B electric powered toothbrush for probably a decade now. It's an older model, but it must be OK because they still sell it. I bought this iO Series 2 model, not because I needed it, but because I'm currently splitting time between two residences, so I just needed a second toothbrush. I have been blown away by the effectiveness of this product! It's light years better than my other Oral-B. It has three modes and you can even teach it which mode is your favorite, so it defaults to that mode instead of making you cycle through to get to it. It has a light to indicate when you're using too much pressure--and I immediately learned that I've been using too much pressure. It almost feels like cheating to use such a light touch, but this thing is cleaning my teeth in ways I never thought possible. My teeth ACTUALLY LOOK shiny and clean after brushing. Grossness Warning: It gets stuff from between my teeth that no other toothbrush ever has, so it's not just giving a "surface clean." The only reason my review is missing that fifth star is that the handle not only has no grip or texture, it's literally slippery. It's plastic, as one would expect, but they attempted a metallic-like effect on the colored models, and it makes it hard to get a secure grip on it. The color is neat, for sure, but I'd rather feel confident that it's not going to slip out of my hand.

I like the toothbrush but even though I charged it the appropriate time…like 2 days! After using it a couple days the red light comes on indicating it needs to be charged. I am returning for the same model and hope for better luck

The toothbrush I received does not work. It was supposed to come fully charged but it did not turn on at all. After hours of charging it still does not work. I requested a refund from Amazon but UPS stated the return label from Amazon does not allow them to accept the defective product even though Amazon advised to return to UPS.. I do recommend this defective product or Amazon for providing a return label that does not work. I do not have time to keep trying at ups so will buy a different brand at CVS or Target.

I’ve been using the Oral-B iO Series 2 for a while now, and I’m really impressed with it! The red light that comes on when you press too hard on your teeth is a great feature, as it helps prevent any damage to your gums. After using it, my teeth always feel noticeably cleaner. It comes with an extra toothbrush head, which is a nice touch, and I love the preset timer that breaks up the brushing into 30-second intervals based on the quadrants of your mouth. The battery holds a charge for a long time, making it super reliable and convenient. The design is sleek and simple, and while it may not matter much, the forest green color is definitely a cool bonus. One thing to note is that you should remove the toothbrush head every now and then to clean the area where it sits on the base, as it can get a little grimy.
