If you are looking for the real thing, this may not be it. This looks like a remnant that was rolled up and had a sticker stuck on it. So whether it really is Oracle 651 vinyl or not, I will not know. There is adhesive and fingerprints and scratches on the first six inches of the vinyl and the vinyl is bubbling in places, so that much is unusable. I believe this is a knock-off because the paper on the back is not the same colors as the real Oracle 651 paper. For $5, I can cut my losses. ... show more

The vinyl itself is good however, the sticky label ruins part of it! It was hard to get off and left residue & bubbles. It wouldn't be so bad if it was just the edge but you lose a few inches due to where it sticks on the roll. I ordered three different colors and two of them were like this. The third one was wrapped in cellophane and the label was on the outside. On the inside, it was tapped together with masking tape which came off clean & easy. This permanent vinyl has stayed perfectly on various cups for awhile now and survived MANY washes! I also put some on my car which has been through sun, cold, wind and lots of rain (Texas...the weather is confused) and has withheld perfectly! Great vinyl!

Of all colors I have purchased, the black is the worst one to work with. I feel as if the vinyl is old or something. This particular batch of black is not weeding well at all and it tearing very easy. I have had to redo several projects and it has been a waste.     • Nice product except the sticker ruining the vinyl!

Great product but why do you put the sticker on the vinyl?? It’s super sticky, hard to remove, leaves a residue on the vinyl, and ruins the first part of vinyl (the vinyl gets stretched out trying to remove the sticker). Besides that all is good, but I probably won’t order again due to the sticker issue. ... show more

The black Oracal 651 glossy has a tendency to stick to itself if you’re not careful. The packaging is usually rolled too tight and I unroll it all and hang it before cutting or else it’ll roll up on the mat. Other reviewers have complained about the tape they place on the roll to hold it and keep it rolled up. I have never had an issue with being able to remove the tape but the last purchase like everyone else has stated, there was 6 inches of vinyl ruined by the tape, and the edges of the vinyl at the end were damaged and unusable. 6” of wasted vinyl is too much. They’ve known this has been an issue and still haven’t improved their handling. ... show more

    • Inexpensive, but you get what you pay for...

I absolutely loved the price of this vinyl. The vinyl I usually buy is much pricier, but I decided to take a chance on a cheaper brand. That was a poor decision on my part. This vinyl is extremely difficult to weed. It rarely sticks to the transfer paper, and I have to manually use a small tool to manipulate the vinyl from its backing onto the transfer paper. I've never had to do that with my other vinyl, and I used the same transfer paper. Additionally, this vinyl is very thin and flimsy, but that was to be expected for the price. I did not expect the weeding and transfer issues, but that may be related to the flimsiness of the vinyl. Overall, if you are looking for cheap vinyl for a small project, this may be worth it. Otherwise, I would skip this product and look into a quality vinyl. ... show more

    • No issues with the tape

I haven't used this yet, but I wanted to go ahead and review the part that causes most of the negative reviews, and that's the warehouse putting tape on the rolls. Mine too came with tape, 3 pieces (each end and the middle). This particular one did not come with the larger sticker on it, thankfully, (though I had no issues taking it off of the other roll that had it). I was able to get all the tape off from mine without any big issues. I did notice a tiny air bubble about 3 inches down and in the middle, but when I get to that spot I'll fix it. I don't know if they changed tapes because of negative reviews, but it really was very easy to remove. I just peeled it up very slowly and I made sure not to peel against the roll.
