I love all of Oprah’s journals and this one is no exception. The journal is beautiful and really hits on the issues of being stuck. It provides helpful exercises. The quotes and photography are beautiful. I highly recommend this journal.

So I feel like the exercises are too generic obviously in an effort to apply to everyone but I feel like it falls flat on truly connecting to you.

    • Good idea, use it at the right time for best effects
I’m not sure how helpful this journal is. If you’re trying to get organized or energized but it isn’t a mental health or physical health thing, then this might work. I was having a down time and found out it was due to a medication. I tried to do this as I was feeling lost but didn’t get past the first section. It might be helpful for some people, but I find my mind already asks these why questions so it wasn’t as helpful for me. I didn’t stick with it though, so I might have stopped before any benefits could kick in for me. I do like how detailed it is, and that it is very different from other journals. It is at least trying to walk you through things to figure out the trigger of what’s wrong. Try to use this when it isn't a dark mental energy, but just a loss of focus. This could definitely help you hone what you want in life if you are open to it. I do feel like the book was kind and motivating, at least the parts I did. ... show more
