I sprayed the morning with my original Opium on the nap of my neck as well as my left forearm and rubbed the arms together. Later that day on the afternoon the "new" version of my newly purchased Opium was delivered. Right away, I sprayed a test on the top of my hand. The fragrance difference is very noticeable. Not as aromatic, not as vivacious. Fainter, To me you could smell the hint of Opium, but not the fragrance I so love. When my husband got home from work I had him smell my neck from the morning, and the top of my hand from the new bottle. He could tell right away that the two smells were different. I've been buying opium for my wife for years ... this is the first time I've been able to buy the purfum! And it is well worth it... It's just amazing...I recommend that you try it to see the difference....

OMG I love this cologne it smells fabulous and the scent is still there the next day when you wake up you can smell a wonderful soft left over fragrance. Such a sexy, sensuous smell. YUM!

It’s just not the same. Really disappointed. It is similar to the original but doesn’t stay with you the whole day, like the original. I would not recommend. I won’t order it again. Merry Christmas to me………

Love the scent. Used back in the 90's a lot. Oh how I missed that smell. Huge difference between the parfum and cologne, go for the parfum you wont be disappointed is you want a empowering scent that will last all day
