I bought these because I had surgery on both feet last week and the tops of my feet have incisions where the doctor removed ganglion cysts and ground down some bone. Needless to say, my feet hurt quite a bit, especially if anything touches the top, and wearing regular shoes is not going to be an option until I recover a bit more. My wife had the excellent idea of wearing flip-flops, so I pulled an old pair out and my feet felt much better with them. The only problem is that I also have flat feet and really need some arch support, otherwise, my feet and legs start to hurt. Coupled with that, most traditional flip-flops don't have much cushioning. I was telling a friend about it and she recommended these, telling me that they are a bit expensive but well worth it, so I ordered them. She was right, and these were worth every penny. They are so incredibly comfortable; it feels like you're wearing regular shoes. They have an incredible amount of cushioning, which took a minute to get used to after wearing traditional flip-flops for a couple of days. If I could give them more stars I would, I can't express enough how comfortable they are, they just feel great. When I'm not at work or somewhere else where wearing flip-flops would be inappropriate, I will be wearing these from now on. Trust me, they're made extremely well and they are well worth the price. There’s nothing to dislike. This is my only favorite sandal and living in warm climate I’ve been using it 90% of the time and still lasted years! It won’t break, only the bottom will thin out after 3-4 years of heavy usage. I just ordered the 2nd pair after many years. It was recommended to me by my doctor when I used to have issues with plantar fasciitis for years. It went away after about 3 months of use! Never had problems since. I purchased them because so many other reviewers said their podiatrists recommended them for their plantar fasciitis. They’re weirdly like walking on clouds and have significantly helped with my own issue. I’ll never go without again. As an aside, Papillo by Birkenstock has a Mary Jane wedge sandal I can comfortably wear for 10 hours/day. Both will change your life. ... show more

I wanted to keep these sandals. I really did, because they are so cute, but they are too wide for my narrow feet. for reference I am a pretty true size 7 and I ordered a size 7. The length was great. But there was too much space between my feet and the “straps” that wrap around the side. The puffy shoe bed makes the sandals a little rocky so the extra space felt unstable. I had previously purchased the Oofos that looked similar to Crocs. I wear an 8-1/2 size in shoes so I ordered a 9. I loved them but they were about an inch to big. So for the flip flops I figured I should go with an 8. I love the flip flop but it fits just barely enough to reach my heel.
