Great shadow-box foam! I used some to organize a 2u Rack drawer that needs to hold several microphones and accessories. I used a silver sharpie to trace the items and a razor knife to cut along the lines. I like that the foam peels in layers to make adjusting the depth easy and leaves a clean bottom surface.     • Glue seems a little too strong for the layers of foam.
Looks nice but the glue that holds the layers are a little on the strong side making it a pain to remove. Sometimes rips up making it messy looking.

The media could not be loaded. This is a quality foam for making cut-out inserts for trays and bins. The laminations are securely adhered but with care can be separated to make the cut-out with minimal tearing on the margins. The multiple laminations allow you to have a controlled removal of layers for a multi-depth recess. The final result relies heavily on user preparation, accurate layout, patience, and a very sharp knife. The firmness is much greater than the pick-and-pluck style of foam and will resist tool roll-out when being bounced around intransit. The blocks are sized nominally, so it is to be expected that some variation will occur and if a very tight fit is needed, it is my suggestion to get more than is exactly needed so that all edges will be trimmed in the fitting process. As for thickness, my experience is panel to panel is consistent in the same batch, but the 2 inch measurement may be 2 inches or a bit more. I did not find any panels under 2 inches. This is a great 2-pack of Polyethylene (PE) Foam from ONREVA. Each sheet is 30” by 22” and 2” thick so it’s enough to use for 2 or more cases for guns, camera and video equipment, drones, tools, two-way radios, etc. Polyethylene is more stiff and sturdy than the sponge-like polyurethane foam found in ‘pluck & pull’ inserts.     • Great foam for tools
I like the look of black on red. The foam is easy to cut (accuracy counts). The panel has a bit of a ripple; not completely flat, which takes away somewhat from it aesthetic look and feel, but doesn't affect it functionally.
