I purchased this product after doing extensive research into gun safes in the $100-200 range and I have to say I'm impressed. I recently bought my first handgun and am eager to see that it is stored safely and securely. While I have no doubt that someone with experience and tools could open this safe with time, it seems more than secure enough to deter most would-be burglars and is easily enough to keep kids and other curious eyes out. It's discreet, well-made, and I couldn't be happier with it, frankly. Pros: - Sturdy construction. Made from high-grade sheet metal with no obvious weak points. - Lid is flush with body when closed, making it much harder to potentially pry open. - Biometric fingerprint scanner works exactly as advertised. No issues yet. - Option to secure box to floor or wall with screws or use the provided steel security cable. - Responsive customer service and detailed instructions. Cons: - Honestly... none at this time. I am really impressed with the quality and value of this safe at this price point. Long story short, I wholeheartedly recommend this safe to anyone who wishes to securely store handguns or small valuables. It is not waterproof nor does it seem like it would withstand a house fire, but for this price/purpose, that's alright with me. P.S. I was curious how/if the safe alerts you when the batteries are low, as I couldn't find this info in the instructions. A similar question was asked on here and the answer from support is that the safe will beep ten times when opened if the batteries need replacement. Cheers!

I really like the quality of this safe. The fingerprint scanner works very well I’ve had another brand that would never work with the scanner, but this one works every time. I like that it has a code and key to open it as well for backups. It’s easy to clip to something solid so it can’t be stolen, and fits nicely under a car seat. The company is very good to work with if you should have a warranty issue. They reply quickly and are very helpful with any issue that might arise. It has excellent quality, especially in this price range.

I received this fairly quickly. The steel seems a little thin, which corresponds to the light weight of the product. However, it is very rigid, the tolerances are very good on the door, and the hinges and the door fits tightly into the box. The instructions are surprisingly clear and this is very easy to set up a PIN and multiple fingerprints. Like all readers, it is a little sensitive to clean and the temperature of your finger when you engage the reader. Your finger needs to be clean and warm for it to work at its best. I found out by accident that you can apply the finger from the front or from the back which is handy if you’re reaching down into a drawer and it will work given the above limitations. Also the width of the product which corresponds to the height of the weapon when you place it in this container is not quite as wide as I would like. I put a CZ 10 F in it which has a slightly longer Magazine holding 21 rounds and it occupies the entire width of the box. The length of the box has extra room on either end of the weapon , it is fairly well padded and lined. Overall for the price and his other reviewers say the better than average working of the fingerprint reader, make this a pretty good value for the money and as above I think it’s functionality is also very good. I saw one Reeder say they found out by accident, but read the instructions. Well, you will come across the section it tells you how to disable the beeping sound when it opens upon a finger. Overall it’s very quiet in operation once you apply that setting. I recommend a purchase and it is held up with pretty consistent use for a couple of months now.

I want to start with saying this safe is amazing!!! I've had it for a year now and use it constantly, just about daily. I really like how easy it was to program the safe!!! I've not had any problems with the safe to mention. I'm very happy with this purchase and I would buy it again as I collect more firearms!!! The customer service is very good as well, 5 starts in that department!!! I've also recommended this safe to my friends who have firearms as well!!!

After 5 years it had trouble opening with the combination--we reached out to the company and they sent us a new product (even though we were outside the warranty window). Definitely a great product and great company. Love the functionality with key, code, and fingerprints (our favorite). We fit a full size, sub-compact, and extra mag.

It's design is elegantly superb, the lockability of it is amazing, the password is easy to make, the space is decent have yet to get a handgun for it but will eventually, and from the looks of it it seems to be very durable. I like the fact it also has a spare key in the box just the same.
