Review Image by James D.
Loving this little ONNAIS safe! It’s a great buy, and while certainly not top of the line or the biggest/heaviest single gun safe out there, it certainly does the job it is intended for. Great size and love the fingerprint reader..... which actually works! So often little safes and other items have fingerprint readers that lack luster. The capacity in this safe is not to shabby either. As you can see from the picture it has a stand in for a 4.25 in 1911 with a win holster and a spare mage (similar to what a person would edc) and it fits great. Testing it out with other items it would fit a single full size firearm with a light (think 1911 and sure fire combo) or two smaller firearms (think sub compacts). Overall a great little safe that does exactly what it should, lock up a firearm and only allows it to be accessible if you have the key, code, or the matching fingerprint. Only downside to this product is the numbers are not back lit which can make it tough to open in the middle of the night or in instances where there isn’t ambient light, however in these instances its best to just just the fingerprint reader anyway. One additional comment, this is sturdy and would deter someone from trying to break in to steal the contents, I do wonder how long it would last if someone was committed to getting in. It would be quite a bit of work, but I imagine with a hammer and a couple of screw drivers someone could likely dent it up enough to see inside, but likely wouldn’t be able to get ahold of the contents. All in all, this is appears to be a solid buy! I plan to update this review in the future to demonstrate how it holds up over daily use. ... show more

    • Great and Convenient little safe!
Set name: XL with Light & Emergency Power
Review Image by KenKosh3
The first safe I received unfortunately had a defect with the locking mechanism and fingerprint sensor. I contacted ONNAIS, and their customer service went above and beyond to make things right. They sent me a replacement safe at no cost, and after using it for a while, I’m happy to say the replacement has been working exactly as it should. The latch has held up, the fingerprint sensor has remained solid, and I haven’t had any of the issues I experienced with the original unit. The safe itself is compact, convenient, and does what I need it to do. What really stood out to me, though, was the customer service. They took my concerns seriously, responded professionally, and followed through with a solution. Based on my experience with the replacement and the way the company handled the problem, I’m comfortable recommending this safe. Excellent customer service and a much better experience the second time around. ... show more

    • Easy setup, bigger than expected, worth the purchase.
Set name: With Light & Emergency Power
So far, so good. Setup was easy, and quick. I plan on using this for storage in my vehicle. Its the perfect size for my needs. We'll see how it holds up over time. It's actually got some weight to it, which makes it feel well built.

    • secure storage for your firearms
Set name: Basic
Seems very well built--strong and study. Great safe for the price! I haven't programmed all the options but you can at least keep your guns safe with a key to start out with. I'm very happy with the product. I recommend this safe.

    • Amazing for the price point
Set name: With Light & Emergency Power
So obviously you get what you pay for, this isn’t a high grade safe that’s going to keep anyone and anything out. What it is tho is a pretty good quality lock box for price of mind. We edc in my household so me and my wife have a firearm on us at all times. We have kids now young so we didn’t want to continue just to have them in the nightstand drawers when we lay our head to rest. With our kid just now walking and becoming curious. This lock box does what it’s designed for and keep him from it if he were to wake up before us and go exploring lol. For the money it’s worth every penny. No it won’t keep a robber out but it will keep ur young children out for more then enough time to hear them messing around with it! Highly rec for a edc end of day lock box. Would not rec if your trying to actually keep out of hands of an enemy or threat. But well worth it I bought two of em and they are bolted to the tops of our night stands. They work great and operate as designed. That’s all I really needed ... show more

This is the first gun safe I've bought. The quality is great! The setup was very easy! There was an issue with the fingerprint reader, but Onnais was easy to reach and they resolved it by sending another one without hesitation! Fantastic customer support!

    • No better safe company
Set name: Basic
Im not one to write reviews. This safe has been amazing for me, survived 4 different moves, never once had a reliability issue until Now, I've had it for over 2 years. Imagine my shock when it made it through its 5th move and didn't open because the batteries had finally died. I, of course, had long lost the physical keys. As a hailmary, I reached out to see if they had a code for a physical key or some glimmer of hope. They confirmed they don't have duplicates as a security measure, but to break it, and they would replace it. Not only did they replace it, but they upgraded me for free. You don't find customer service like that very much. Oh and breaking it open was extremely difficult. ... show more

    • Great customer service
Set name: XL with Light & Emergency Power
I highly recommend this product and this company. I had a problem with the original safe that was delivered —— it would not close properly after I had programmed my password and recorded my fingerprints for biometric added safety. I contacted ONNAIS to report the problem. Rachel — the representative I spoke with immediately arranged to have a new safe delivered, which I received within a few days. There was absolutely no hassle and it was a great customer service experience. ... show more
