I am familar with onetouch, but didnt pay attention to the model. The strips are hard to come by. But i like the look, feel and accuracy.

I bought an extra 1 of these for my wife so we could test together after being diagnosed in July 2023 as a diabetic type 2. The goal was to track my glucose without having my wife’s numbers in my averages and there was no way within the device to keep our reading separate. One day I used my meter and got a 150, quickly I did a second reading on the second meter and got a 132. Since then I’ve tested on both meters over a dozen times and I never get a reading less than 15 points apart. Now my pharmacist said my insurance will no longer cover the test strips but she wouldn’t give a reason why. We called our insurance and they said they are switching to accu check as a reason so I’ll update this as I learn more. ... show more
