  • Arrived as described, excellent (but of course not perfect) condition
The media could not be loaded. Edit Nov 2022 (after 1 year): the only issues with this device is battery degradation has been significant and I'm going to get the battery replaced, and the earpiece speaker grill was missing when it first got delivered - so I need to clean dust out of there weekly. Other than that, I've been so used to using this device over the last 3 years I've gone thru 2 of them (this is the 2nd one) no other smartphones really interest me besides Samsung's folding devices, which I'm considering for next year. The experience is smooth, the processor and software keep up with me no matter what I've thrown at it, the display is flawless (remember, no notch/holepunch), the only weakness is a lack of software updates (I'm on Oxygen 12 as of Nov 2022) and the cameras are average. I can easily recommend this 3 year old flagship smartphone to someone who is on a budget and doesn't mind those trade offs! Not gonna review the product itself, go look on YouTube for that. The 7t Pro McLaren edition is already an enthusiast-level product in itself so you likely know what you're getting into. NOW, the physical condition is really nice-looking, back and front. If there are any scratches on the screen I can't notice them. Some insignificant scuffs are visible on the side rails and that's it. No problems with this unit so far. And factory unlocking worked without a hitch, already ordered a new Tmobile SIM for it. YMM ... show more

  • Black Crunch issue
I got this phone for 2 main reasons.1) The Front Facing camera and giving me the entire front screen. 2) The 256GB and 12GB of RAM. Its a refurbished item so was expecting some scratches and stuff, but I got something different. Everything is great. The only issue is the black levels on the phone. I have the "Black Crunch" issue where the screen has problems displaying light to dark gradients. I'm using an app called Screen Balance to somewhat fix this, but the main issue still remains. This may may be fixed by replacing the screen, but I'm not too sure. I'm not thrilled to spend more just to fix the black levels to an uncracked screen. That's just me, but others have had this problem as well. It would have been 5 stars considering it is refurbished, but 4 is what I'm giving it. It's probably a One Plus problem especially if this was a really good screen by the manufacturer and not the seller's responsibility. Yet again I don't think the phone I got was properly examined and fixed. ... show more

  • Great battery life and camera
I love this phone! I came from an LG V30. It worked fine but was just slow and old. This one is so much faster and the camera is awesome! Ive fine photos and video. The 4k videos are quite large, but so much clearer than my V30. Having 60fps on video makes things really smooth. Even the front camera is crisp and clear. I love the poo up feature. There was no bloatware installed so I didn't have to disable or remove anything. It has gobbs of memory and storage so it can hold a lot and it's quick about switch apps. The price on a refurb phone was great and much less than retail. It came with fast charger and it seems to work well. I get a quick charge in about 15 minutes and I'm good for several hours. The battery life is decent. I'm a heavy user all day. I can usually get about 16 to 18 hours before I have to panic and plug it in. On a light use day for me, I get easily 16 hours with plenty of battery left over. On heavy use days I get 16 hours with about 13% to 25% left over. Even at 15% left over with battery saver turned on I can use it solidly for another hour of screen time. If ycsn get a hold of this phone take it. ... show more

  • Excellent price, amazing device that has some unforseen crap.
256GB of space is phenomenal, camera not staring back at you cause it pops out the top, is a nice touch. This wrap around screen though, I very literally have to hold the phone in my palms because otherwise my finger fat will be touching from one side and everything has to be paid extra attention to because I have hit so many things just by holding it like a normal phone while speaking to someone or looking elsewhere. It is a really, potentially bad issue and doesnt seem to be avoidable. Beside that, it is the best device I have ever had, the screen is hard to explain but wasnt thought out well enough by the designers. ... show more

  • good investment
This phone as out-dated as it is, still rivals some of todays models. Super fast without noticeable lag with an outstand display. I also have the 10 plus and there is not much difference side by side. Only complaint is about the finger print reader as an option to open the phone

  • Falty touch around center of screen
Screen click issues. And t mobile. Good otherwise. But that's pretty bad, would rather have a generic phone the touch issues

  • AT&T will no longer activate this phone as of Jan 2021
I've been playing with this phone the whole afternoon since it arrived and it was going to be a nice upgrade to my 3 year old Xiaomi on the ATT network. Unfortunately ATT has really hamstrung the selection of phones they will allow on the network due to the "3g sundown." This phone is perfectly capable of VoLTE, but it is blocked on the network for new activation. BE ADVISED your SIM card will get blocked by the network and require you to call 611 and get it reprovisioned. Buy the oneplus 7 Pro if you have ATT as it is basically the exact same phone less the 5g band Tmo uses. ... show more

  • Phone Great so Far
The phone was as described. Everything looked brand new except one minor imperfection. There was a faint scratch in the screen that was only visible with the screen off and held at just the right angle. WiFi, Bluetooth, cameras, speakers, mic all worked well. I use Cricket for service, so it works well on the AT&T network. The user interface is a little adjustment for back, home, etc. that were different than my LG G5 but I like it. The popup selfie camera is an interesting feature. Since I don't take a lot of selfie's, I don't have any concerns about the extra moving parts associated with that. It doesn't include the original case, screen protector or charger from OnePlus but that was stipulated in the description. The supplied charger is a 3.0A (15W) which does charge as fast as the OnePlus 30W charger would. The supplied charger does meet the product description, so no complaints. Just make sure you understand that before purchasing. ... show more
