We're aging, and aren't as strong as we used to be. Tried unsuccessfully to put new caster cups under the old upright piano, and so we got this device. It enabled us to get the job done! That said, it isn't a miracle cure. I first tried it on the front caster, where the piano is a lot lighter, and was thrilled to be able to easily lift and replace the caster cup all by myself. Then I tried it in the back - a different story. I didn't put as much weight on the lifter as I could've, as I was afraid it would break. The arm might be able to take the pressure, but I was worried about the plastic cup that sits underneath it. Had my husband try, and he had the same experience. So we double-teamed it, with me using the lifter and my husband pulling slightly on the top of the piano, being careful not to tip it so far that it might fall over. The added help of the lifter made it work. Success! I'm not sure that we have anything else in the house that's as heavy as that old piano. It's nice to have this tool handy for other moving needs. I like this ONEON Innovative Furniture Lifter Tool. It works well. But if the handle were longer, I'd be able to lift heavier things. I often have to move heavy things by myself, and this tool comes in very handy for that. Moving my king size bed has always been a challenge because it's so heavy and I can't get a grip under the mattress. With this, I was able to put the lifter under the mattress and lift it up enough to get my casters underneath it. The one thing that would make this much better is if the handle were longer to give me more torque on heavier items. I like it. I recommend this product. ... show more

This lifter tool is 15 inches long. I was expecting a longer and more substantial handle to allow me to lift larger furniture, so in that regard, I was a bit disappointed. HOWEVER, this will lift heavy furniture and appliances so that you can put castors or sliders under them easily, the only thing is that you will need to be down on your knees to be able to use it rather than standing so you can use your full weight. You can use a pole to extend the handle part to eliminate the need to be down on the ground, but maybe they expect you to be down on the ground so you can slide in the furniture mover anyway. Overall, it is a useful tool and one that I will make use of and if the need arises that I want more leverage, I will find an extension pole. But as stated, I was expecting a long pole already and was a bit disappointed at finding a short one. Functionality-wise, yes it will work, but the listing is a bit misleading as the actual size. ... show more

For the size and effectiveness of this lifter, it was more expensive than I was expecting. The size is very small. I was expecting it to be a little bigger. I am trying to move my chicken coop in the back yard and I have to put a large piece of wood underneath the wheels for it to lift it off the ground so I can insert and mover type equipment. Have not used it indoors, but I am going to try and use it for my floor safe to move it out of the garage, I will try to update it after I try to use it for the move, but just to let you know the handle is small and somewhat flimsy. ... show more

When I got this furniture lifter, I was not expecting a lot from it as its just about 14 inches long. I was expecting it to be long enough to use while standing up. I tried to lift my 2 seater couch and a dresser and this tool helped me lift those with just one hand and least effort. This does work and if you have furniture sliders, you can use this tool to lift the furniture easily and then slide in furniture sliders underneath it. My daughter have to move next month and this little too is going to be so helpful. I just wish the handle was longer so I do not have to bend to use it. ... show more

Actually, a pretty decent little tool. Was able to get under and lift the corner of a very heavy credenza easily. The actual design is not the best. There are raised gussets on each side of the lift plate (for strength) which will damage your furniture if you put it in too far or lift too high. I cracked the veneer in a couple of places before I realized what was happening. Good for the price, but I may try a different design in the future. ... show more
