Like the shoes so far. They have a good amount of spring in them. Definitely not a shoe you want to walk around in! The only complaint is if your going slow you have less stability. For the price, your getting a great deal.

These shoes are really very nice. They look great, and they come with supportive ensoles. They also come with a pair of socks, which was greatly appreciated. The only thing that was a bit concerning is that they were not the most comfortable. I think that these shoes are strictly for running. If you walk in them too long, they will more than likely hurt your feet. Overall they are very nice sneakers and made for people who want to run.

The ONEMIX Pace Beam running shoe is a curious beast. It has excellent cushioning, a secure fit, and a distinct appearance. It also pops while walking and can push my ankle into a roll. This brand is new to me. I have flat feet and spend my days standing on concrete floors so I'm always looking for shoes that keep me comfortable. THE ONEMIX Pace Beam doesn't have much support built-in, but it comes with additional "massaging" insoles that actually add a decent amount of support. I can easily fit orthotics in as well, but I find them unnecessary with the replacement soles inserted. The cushioning is almost too plush, rivaling the most maximal shoes on the market. The sole is nice and grippy with a lot of arc to roll your foot forward, and a hole under the toe to show off the carbon fiber plate that runs the length of the shoe. The cushioning might be the one weakness of the Pace Beam. Because of the odd green bubble under the heel, when I walk normally there's a sensation that the shoe is rolling side-to-side. At speed this isn't a problem, but when walking (admittedly I pretty much avoid running) it is noticeable for a few minutes. This is especially pronounced when walking my dog along the edge of a well-crowned road. That said, it evens out with wear and isn't really noticeable after a few wearings. I've spent several ten hour days wearing them and my feet are still pretty happy afterwards. The hole in the sides of the sole is odd and probably terrible off-road, but for street wear it's just kind of there. I have no idea what the three indicators on the heel are supposed to mean. The price seems to be in line with similar sneakers from better-known brands. Sizing is a bit large, which I'm good with. The toe box is surprisingly roomy and you can wear fairly thick socks comfortably. The laces grip well and the upper has a nice amount of ventilation. So if you're looking for a different running shoe that actually propels you forward a bit without wrecking your joints, and don't mind a few odd design choices, the ONEMIX Pace Beam is a pretty good shoe. Made in China.
