I think it stinks that they don't start you off with like 10 strips where you can see what the strips for that machine look like. I wastes money buying the test strips that had the basic same name and the fit and turned on it machine but that was it it wouldn't show that it had my blood. It also doesn't come with the control Solution. And I looked and looked for control Solution and couldn't find it one touch instructions say to ask my DME that I get my supplies from because that may have been all I needed to start with. Just so I can calibrate my g6 or g7 with it. GRRRR. I'm on Medicare and really didn't have the money to buy all new stuff at this time. ... show more

    • Stopped Working after 3 months
The One Touch Ultra2 stopped working after three months. I contacted the company and we went through a diagnosis checklist including the serial number of the meter and the lot number on the test strips. I was told a new meter would be shipped out. Twos weeks later I am still waiting from the replacement. Update 8/14/23 I spoke to customer care the meter was lost in the mail and a new meter will be sent by FedEx overnight. Update 8/15/2023 The second meter was delivered to the wrong address by Fedex . I called One Touch and again they shipped out another meter. One Touch has gone above and beyond on trying to get a meter delivered. Thank you One touch for outstanding customer service. ... show more

I had the exact same model before last year, but misplaced it when I went on vacation in December so I had to re-order. The first order got lost somehow so I had to re-order again! I’m grateful that these people got the product to me as I am diabetic and this is not an optional device. The meter is quite simple to use with only a handful of operations to understand, the “sharps“ are easy to insert and have a protective yet easy to remove cap and the rest of the materials provide for the functionality of using the meter to test my glucose daily.     • Received open and USED kit! QC Desperately needed!
Received my order with the original packaging open. Initially I thought maybe it got damaged in transit. Then I opened it and immediately realized someone may have already used it since the instructions were folded incorrectly. But the WORST PART was opening the lansing device to find a USED NEEDLE! This is beyond a safety issue especially since some people may not check that and could have injured or infected themselves! This is a serious quality control issue. When this was returned the first time, it should have been discarded and not put back with "new" inventory. Very disturbing! ... show more
